Getting our deck replaced, took forever to find someone with time and even with that we've been waiting since the fall. They tore down the old one yesterday and will be back on Thursday (when the weather is nicer) to finish that and start building the new one.

Apparently the code guy (as much of a ripoff as a HOA) is being sort of an ass. We are keeping our main posts but he wants to make sure they are at least 36 inches down. So the guys will have to dig down to show him.

I may throw up. I do terrible at eye exams. I almost punched the doctor the last time because he thought I would react better if he didn't warn me he was going to put the one thing on my eye.
