Lol it’s a pretty hilarious revelation. Its like finding the girl of your dreams only to find out she didn’t actually want to be with you but wanted to be with your friend lol

He said he would watch tape alone with no coaching. That's worse than I ever thought the Bears coaching was/could be. Incompetent? Absolutely. Straight up apathetic? Didn't think that. And here I am in the city hearing "SUPER BOWL" yet again this year from their fans.

Bears fans have Stockholm Syndrome.

Here is a fun one. After losing to the Eagles in the Wild Card round 10-22. The Packers tried getting the league to ban the tush push made famous by said Eagles.

The Packers motion was rejected. The votes? 10 in favor 22 opposed. The same 10-22 they lost by.

Didn't the Bears also vote to ban the tush push?

I think you are missing the point. The Packers are the ones that proposed the ban. The Bears were among the 22 teams that voted to ban it as well. 10 teams voted to leave it. And it needed 24 votes to be banned. So it lived.

I guess you missed the serendipity of the Packers losing to the Eagles 10-22. Then losing on their proposed ban of the Eagles play, also 10-22.

But I get it, you are obsessed with the Bears and have to mention them in everything you post. Totally justified!

This is typical Grid psychotic reasoning.

The 22-10 thing is stupid since 22 people voted to ban the tush push and only 10 people voted with the Eagles.

You and your buddy Hairy must have both missed the joke.

What was the score of the Eagles Packers playoff game last year? 10-22. Packers lose.

What was the score in the Packers motion to ban the Eagles tush push? 10-22. Packers lose.

The joke writes itself!

More people seem not to have gotten the joke than otherwise.

The real joke is the Bears.

Lions Seasons: 96 (1930 to 2025)

Lions Record (W-L-T): 606-709-34

Lions Super Bowls Won: 0 (0 Appearances)

Lions winless seasons: 2

That's the joke! Report back, when your team gets to 800 wins as well.

Meaningful history here.

For much of their existence the Lions have been bad. Currently they are pretty good. That makes me happy. It seems to make you sad. The Bears might be crawling out of the sewer, but that remains to be seen.

With Ragnow retiring, Lions starting to come back to the rest of the division.

More hope for the Bears!

The man was a beast. I wont take anything away from him. But why wait a month before camp and right when all these OTA's are happening, to drop that bombshell?

That puts the Lions in a bad spot. They already lost Zeitler (RG) and now center. Thats two pro bowl linemen gone

Maybe he was hoping on hope that he could give it a go.

But yeah, he should have at least given them a heads up before the draft that he was thinking about it.

He was hoping they would rework his contract. That seems to be most of the reports out there, for why he was skipping OTA's. Especially with a new OC this season.

His current deal, that he signed back in 2021, was only for $54MIL over 4 years. Peanuts, as he became a Pro Bowler from that point on.

He is only getting $9MIL this year. And they can cut him next, as his contract isnt even guaranteed.

Lions wouldnt budge, as they have a lot of big contracts coming up (Hutch, Gibbs, Jameson Williams ETC ) and with that, he announces he will retire at just 29 years old. If they paid the man, we wouldnt be talking about this I bet.
