Most cards sell on the website a few times before they're shipped if ever.

So they receive my cards, scan them, ID them, and put them in a box for like 20% that compounds

I'm not saying their business doesn't have complications, but they're triple dipping on these fees and could provide us better service

This the correct answer..yikes. I've cashed out my epack twice and always added the cards to some other COMC cards and the biggest order I ever had was around 150 cards which was when I paid $30+. Now this 370 card order with around 70 cards from just comc and the rest from epack...wasnt expecting that huge price tag. Will probably change the way I trade/buy on epack.

I submitted an Ohtani flagship Black /70 to PSA through COMC and PSA misidentified it (platinum anniversary) and COMC didn't catch it.

Anyone know what I can do about this? I dont feel like I should be on the hook for a reslab since I already paid for it and wasn't the one to submit it to PSA.

Request that COMC send it back to PSA as a mechanical error submission, which is free for them.

I have not sold a lot there. I can say 10% of what I have sold were to flippers. I have seen card's ID number under 1 million just a few weeks ago and priced over $2.75 so all those pennies per month do add up. It may never sell at that price. In 2011 I told them that they could become a warehouse of unsellable cards.

I have given them my 2 cent worth over many years for buyers who want to bring them home.

I have been getting e-mails twice a week asking to send in my 1,000-dollar cards for auctions or bid on those high prices cards before they are gone. They should know I'm a $1 card guy.

They are going for every penny they can get, and resellers are not helping.

It is free for anyone to get a PSA mislabeled card reholdered. If you have the card in hand, just fill out a CRC review on PSA and PSA will give you a pre-paid label for shipping to them.

If COMC still has the card - email them and explain the situation and they should be able to submit a CRC request to have it corrected.

Does anyone have insight into how long it takes COMC to crosspost cards on eBay once priced on COMC? I usually see cards post relatively quickly (under an hour) from when priced on COMC but just curious if anyone knows what COMC's process is there.

Typically, they are automatically posted to eBay within an hour of being priced on COMC, but for the last few days it seems that they are not currently posting most "new" listings to eBay.

This happens every few months where "new" listings are stopped either intentionally are due to a system glitch, but it usually resolves within a week and the "new" listings begin to be cross-listed automatically again.

Update: Contacted COMC and they are taking care of everything and resubmitting at no cost. Awesome service and quick response time!

If you read their Blog.
We’re so confident you’ll love using your COMC account to purchase items that we’re providing a $5.99 Shipping Credit to COMC members who purchase at least 20 cards with your COMC Store Credit from Monday, April 21st until Sunday, April 27th. The shipping credit will be deposited as store credit by Friday, May 24th. (Credit will be deposited by May 24th along with other buyer rebate and does not expire).

If you know them the BY really means ON. Of coarse, if they do not change it again.

Does COMC charge extra for thick card?
By thick, I'm talking about 100 pt.

Those Marvel Fleer Ultra and Midnight Sons size.

At their own discretion; they used to have a page which defined their "oversized" card dimensions, but they've deleted it and now can upcharge based on their own choices (usually because they won't fit in a 9-card page or would require extra shipping cost/toploader.

I just heard back from COMC, the cards have to be larger then 130pt.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us! We do charge for thick cards, but only if they're larger than 130pt. These cards you mention would be processed Standard at $0.50 per card.

Do you sort all like cards and sets together when submitting them to COMC or just throw them in a box and let COMC sort. Do they even sort or just run through a listing type system or machine. Just wondering if I should sort like cards and sets together or just penny sleeve and put in the box. Does it even really matter, just thinking that if they would get through faster if I did anything on my end

my submission batch is 9 days past due. About how long will it take to get them in there, COMC experts?

Thanks

I try to sometimes group cards by set but I don't think it actually makes things easier for them. I think most of the listing process is automated at this point so it really doesn't matter since each card has a unique id

Agreed. No reason to spend time grouping your submission.

As others have said, they will sort them out. However, they seem to break apart batches by "attribute" (signed, numbered, memorabilia, vintage, etc). It might make things slightly easier if there were a few hundred cards all from the same set clumped together, but otherwise they seem to do things their own way, so any attempt you have at sorting would probably be counterproductive.

The frustrating thing about this is... I will do separate subs for sets, 50+ cards per sub, then COMC will consolodate them into 1 submission. I do it for myself to group sets, or fresh pulls, to make it easier to track. But it doesn't matter. I'll share an example later of a select sub (2 weeks) taking 6 months to complete. Not saying it's because it was consolidated, but I bet if they left them alone, most of the subs would have been done on time.
