Nice win for the Halos, maybe this can help get them on track, since I'm still (and always) looking forward to that Freeway World Series.

Lucky for the Dodgers the Padres lost and Arizona too (to the Rockies), but the Giants did pick up a game on everybody.

Hopefully, LA can avoid the sweep tomorrow.
Arizona's in on Monday.

Nothing high end but his stuff was dirt cheap until a month ago and still is not expensive.

The update chrome refractor was like $18 shipped, no scratches. I probably will be subbing that one and the heritage to PSA as both cards look great. The
A&G were dirt cheap.

The Allen & Ginter X came from breaks earier this year and pushed the breaks from decent to a win. I got a little caught up and wound up going in $400 total. By odds I should have pulled 5-6 autos across 14 breaks but only got 3. However they were Kershaw gold /5, Piazza /10, and this one along with a ton of Yamamoto base and mini and same for pages.

Great Pages all around! RC aside, I think the 2025 Heritage blacks look much nicer.

Here are my 3 Pages so far. Eye on a few more, just hope prices stay somewhat reasonable.

The Dodgers will need to turn the page(s) on this weekend.
They sent May, Kershaw, and Gonsolin to the mound and the Angels beat them all.
Padres laid another egg today which is good, but SF and Arizona won, so the West is really tightening up.

D'backs tomorrow.

Pretty embarrassing. I know the Angels are much better team than they were last season, but really, swept? At least Barnes and Taylor are gone.

They let the Angels win to try and build a rivalry that really isn’t there. When they need to step up the Dodgers will be there. A 3 game sweep by the angels in May is pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things. As long as they beat the teams in their division that’s all that matters.

I sold his Bowman Chrome 1st blue refractor auto /150 PSA 10 for a little less than $200 before the season started as there was question if he'd even make it on the OD roster, let alone play as a regular. Since I don't PC him, decided to get what I could before the season started.
I saw a PSA 10 sell for $550 the other day. Whoops!

I do hope the Angels catch fire from this, but the Dodgers were definitely trying to win. They were 17-4 at home and looking to become the first team to 30. Now they're 17-7 and 2 games back of Detroit (and tied with the Mets).

As the Dodgers have shown repeatedly over these past 15 years, it is very hard to win the World Series, no matter how stacked your team is. Every game means plenty when the goal is to have the best record in baseball, and the all important game 7s at home that gets your club in every playoff series.

The Dodgers look like they are finally moving to youth but being specific about it. So keeping the vets around until they can gauge how the young guns do in the majors. I had a few articles about Rushing prior to his call-up. Now I'm seeing articles about Alex Freelend with their move away from Outman though much of that has to do with Teoscar coming back.

Down 4 runs with 2 runners on, and Ohtani on-deck, I'd probably have hit for Kim in that spot.

Giants lost, too, so LA spends another day in 1st...

Either Perdomo has really figured it out at 25 or he’s juicing. Not even 50 games in and he’s tied his career high for HRs and is only 10 and 5 away from his career high in RBIs and SBs, respectively. He never hit more than 6 HRs in the minors.
