I foolishly finished Venom TLD. My word. Think how much Sony lost by having these Spider Man movies be generally garbage.

Other than maybe the first venom, did they do any of their marvel movies any justice?

Aside from the main Spider-Man movies I think, like you said, Venom 1 was the only worthwhile entry. And I wasn’t a fan of the Garfield movies. You can tell the people making the movies don’t really care about the subject matter.

And perhaps even worse, don't bother to truly familiarize themselves with why people love the original subject matter.

Imo Madame Web was the only truly horrible Sony verse...

Morbius wasn't good, but not as terrible as the memes male it out to be

I thought Kraven was actually pretty good, outside of a few things, and it only tanked because Sony publicly said before it's release it would be their last...so what's the point in spending $$ to watch it

The Venom trilogy I thought was just campy fun...and however much they lost on the 3 I just mentioned...they alone brought them close to breaking even...Combined $450 million budget...Combined $1.84 Billion box office

Sandler is only executive producer on this one.
Queen Latifah is starring as Happy Gilmore, Jr.

They'd been looking for a project to do together and she had some down-time in between the 4th and 5th seasons of "The Equalizer", only on CBS.

She’s a perfect fit now that she’s been equalized and cancelled.

Why not? If it sucks, it'll be forgotten like Dumb and Dumber Too. If it's good, then good!

Hopefully, this will speed the wheels on "Girls Trip 2". That's roughly 5 years overdue at this point, and don't get me started about "Bringing Down The House 2". I mean, how long are we supposed to wait for that?

Watched Fountain of Youth on Apple + last night. It's like Indiana Jones meets National Treasure.

It's not a great movie, but honestly it's an enjoyable 2 hours of simple fun. If just trying to relax and enjoy the evening it's solid

Fountain of Youth is a movie that's good enough. I haven't seen a positive review for this movie yet. It's not nearly as bad as people who expected this to be a great movie are making it out to. $180 million budget though. There's no way apple TV makes any money.

Mickey 17 is really weird. Robert Patterson is good though.

183 million in the USA alone (341m overall) for the live-action "Lilo & Stitch", beating the all time Memorial day weekend record set a few years ago by "Top Gun: Maverick". Cruise's new movie did great, too, 77m domestic and 190m worldwide, the best opening yet for a "Mission: Impossible" movie.

Final Destination and Sinners continue to play well and it looks like Thunderbolts might hit 200m after all.

It's my favorite animated movie of all time. I can't wait for it to come to streaming!

It was definitely...not what I expected...Mickey seemed like a complete simpleton, until the 18 version...but he did play both roles well

Also..have to give credit to Ruffalo for hamming it up and chewing the scenery every chance he had

I was at the theater today and watched Friendship.

I didn't love it, and I didn't hate it. I saw what they were going for. It was somewhat successful. Some of the acting was better than others, and it had it's moments that it made you feel uncomfortable as it was intending to.

5.5/10. Glad I saw it but will probably never watch it again.
