I'm closing in on my second too, Sergeant Major Avery Johnson - so if anyone has any spare base or banished they want to trade for Halo, Golf, Looney Tunes or Marvel.....

Only if they look gem, which is a long shot imo. Anything that's transferred and shipped home is always a Hail Mary w/ ePack.

I've learned to not request top loaders anymore on most cards. Bc it just opens the door for damaged corners and/or fingernail imprints.

The packaging has always been top notch tho.

I had to trade a lot of Master Chief & Cortana to get the Noble, but totally worth it.

You can transfer to COMC and elite scan it for $2 to see a pic of the actual card you are getting vs the bulk scan showing on ePack.

No, you can ship it home same as ePack

You can't however send it back to ePack from comc

Nope. All cards on ePack are stored on COMC and they handle all scans. So you can transfer to CoMC and it won’t be designated for sale unless you designate it for sale yourself. You can get the better scan by paying the $2 fee and it usually comes back in 2 business days. Then you can ship home whenever you want OR leave it there. You can also submit to one of the available grading services through COMC. PSA takes like 3 months tho lately.

Yup. Not that bad really .. there were much harder ones in Looney Tunes and Marvel sets.

Still a lot of work though if you aren't dropping stupid money on boxes/cases

Doesn't it cost money to send cards to COMC? Or should I just send a handful of cards to COMC and see what happens?

I actually wouldn't mind trying to cash in on a few things, and maybe trying out a COMC auction or two.

Spoiler : Your ePack cards are already at comc.

If you transfer, it takes a few seconds to show up in your comc account.

I’ve been adding some Metal from this set. Not going for full set since I’m not a fan of the art and/or characters used for some of the cards, but I have accumulated about 10 so far. I have sent them all to the slab factory (PSA) which is running like 3 months now. So I will update this thread when I start getting them back. Likely late-Aug or early-Sept.

Could be FOMO from first group of auction losers. I cant tell from scan but it could also be the cheaper card had more visible imperfections as well.

Yeah, i've been watching some of these auctions. The day of the week could also factor into the sale.
Ending on a Wednesday is not the ideal auction.

Some Mythics have gone on sale via auction and prices are so so.
Big characters hitting $100s but price does not seem worth it considering the amount you have to rip on e-pack for decent trades.

It is a good way to upgrade your digital bulk into something tangible.

The problem with the combinables always goes back to them not being numbered. So you don’t know how many are actually printed. In early ePack it was mentioned (maybe incorrectly) that UD said they printed the combinables under the assumption that all digital base available would eventually be combined. Whether or not that is true is anyone’s guess. But who knows how many old ePack combinables are sitting at COMC waiting for someone to finally claim them.

As far as perceived value, even though they are hard to make, I guess the fear is that a flood of them eventually pop up in a decade or so (or whenever) when ePack finally folds.

yes. if you choose to sell you can list auction or buy it now. you'll get store credit upon the sale of your item which can be used on comc or cashed out.

Is anyone else having issues viewing the public marketplace for specific cards? I can say, search for a card that has 848 items in the marketplace, but I'll only see 30 results.
