Not going to hold my breath as I have a bulk order with an estimated completion date of 6/4. Order has been sitting in the first stage of assembly now for 7 weeks now. I'd rather PSA just got rid of the tracker as that just makes them look silly they can't even move it to the second stage within that 7 weeks.

You can now nearly have a home constructed in the time it takes PSA to grade your submission. These TAT times are impressive

PSA is definitely the slowest they've been since the summer of 2022.

I do like the tracker. I prefer to cover new order expenses with previous order sales versus adding debt to a CC. Once it hits Grading then that's my cue to convert some BINs to auction or offer discounts if I have not yet yet covered the cost of new order. Once it hits Assembly then that's my queue to make sure my preferred rewards CC is good to go or switch to another.

I don't much worry about the time since I have no control over it. I just try and put a new order in the pipeline every few weeks to keep things popping every month.

Anybody with Value Plus past the ETA date? Have an important card for my PC at Value Plus, and the delays are painful. First world problems, but painful.

Expected grades to pop over 2 weeks ago.

I got the CC receipt email ~6:15AM CST (4am PSA time) and grades showed in the app around that time. The 'grades ready' email + app notification came around noon, lol.

Finally have movement. Will post the results once we reveal the grades, sent a batch of cards from our fantasy football group, so going to do a "live" reveal tomorrow night to get a few laughs. Out of my 10 i submitted, have a 1/1 Lamar Jackson, hoping to grade 9 at a minimum. Will post the mix of grades later this week, with this group, they were just wanting to send cards in, so grades should be all over the board. Should be fun.

I bought a raw card on eBay and it did NOT pass the authentication. They sent me a message on ebay saying it did not pass. It IS authentic but there is a "crease, bends, folds, or torn". It failed the Listing accuracy" step and they even uploaded two photos of the damage that you couldnt see in the original ebay listing.

They had an option to receive a refund.

This is a good thing for eBay to be doing imo. It saved me a headache. Cool.

edit: i might have posted this in the wrong thread

Default PSA Shelacking

Just received an order back from PSA (58 Cards). Received by PSA 2/19, Received by me 6/3.

I watched it go from Received to Assembly in one day near the end of May... I felt like that was a bad sign. They were all brand new Cardsmiths Currency cards and I think 16 were from a series 4 box I opened right when they came out. I received one 10 on a wildly off-centered card that I had purchased raw on eBay. 1 was a PSA 6, 22 were PSA 7's, 18 were PSA 8's, 16 PSA 9's and the one 10. Bare in mind these were all 2024 cards.

I have graded thousands of cards and I am just awestruck as to what is going on here. The only thing I can think of is that these were simply rushed through and barely examined. It's really enough to second guess grading until this garbage stops.

I did it. Turnaround time was pretty quick. I investigate the pictures of the card (Pokemon) a ton before purchasing. Surprised to get a PSA 10. Card was flawless in the pics, but expected something unseen to come up.

There is a real chance the grader knows nothing about this set and PSA doesn't have much info on them. I submitted some wrestling cards last Summer that qualified as TCG. Thankfully, I only submitted 12, but I got torched on them badly when all of them were pack pulled, perfectly centered, and no visible flaws of any kind. Didn't make sense. I chalked it up to the grader never seeing the set before and PSA not having much info on it. First and last time I'll submit anything like that.

There is a Mew XY Evolutions Holo in there that would pay for half the order if that comes back as a 10.

Yeah. It is really unfortunate. I have sent a few different lots of these in. It is really hit and miss with graders. I just can't make any sense of some of these. I guess I can't tell the difference between a 7 and a 10 in one lot I sub, but the next I am pretty darn good at it... Or that's what they would want me to believe.

After that debacle I started looking at pop reports more to see if a card is worth grading. Gem % has improved greatly.

If those cards are for PC, I suppose it doesn't really matter what the grade is, but at this point I'd just be looking at mag cases if that's the case. If it's for resell, I would start thinking about grading something else, or use a different grading company.

That's funny. 404 cards graded for this set and I had all but 3 of the 7's Yeah. That's a good way to do it. Thank you for your responses.

That is ridiculous! Had they put it I. The system in a timely manner you would have gotten the special price. However, and they know what I am about to say, until people stop using PSA because of their inconsistency and poor CS they will keep doing what they are doing.

Not to be flippant, but I’m jealous you’re in QA2. I’ve been in assembly since May 22nd for a Value Plus that was due a couple days ago.

PSA ugh.

Communication has never been PSA's strong suit.

There's currently a huge backlog in Assembly, but you haven't heard a peep from the company about it. Is it due to materials? Is it just currently where the TCG influx has hit a bottleneck? Is half of the staff out ill?

Nothing.

Let's just fly by everyone's estimated finishing dates and you'll just have to like it.

Seriously... any other company, any other industry, and the company would be toast.
