Is each letter /4 or is the entire thing /4 and each letter is essentially a 1/1?

Each is effectively a 1/1, yes, they just chose the worst possible numbering option (not 1/1 like all their other letter patch relics are, and not even numbered in alphabetical order).

Not looking great at point, but leaving the most storied franchise in all of sports with Judge hitting behind you was a dumbass move for a few million here and there.

Another view: It's a 15 year deal, and Judge is 33. There's a lot of time left for Soto's story to play out, and most of that time will be after Judge has become irrelevant.

1000 game is tomorrow. Soto has 200+ hr and 800+ walks in that time allotment. Only 2 other players in history have done that.
Ted Williams and Frank Thomas. Decent company.
