On the ePack side it should be the same. I just switched my address to COMC mailbox instead of my home address. So should be no different.

On the COMC side I *think* my submission might have gotten a discount based on the March promo (more geared for cards … not comics, I’m assuming) they are advertising. I was surprised my COMC sub fees were so low since every raw comic I submit to COMC straight from home gets hit with $4 processing fee.

Second batch of 10 soft slabs arrived today and they charged me $30 for this batch. So I’m not sure why first batch ran cheaper.

Bottom line is it’s probably something you only want to do with the ratios or a normal comic that increased in value. I am also experimenting with “cool covers” and items I think might do well with search terms since the comics won’t list to eBay.

** EDIT: I can walk you through these directions if interested.

I enjoy buying comics on Collect Forever and was hoping they could come up with some cool exclusives but ultimately I’m not liking this particular series of covers so far. Maybe next exclusive.

Let me know if I understand this achievement. Do I have to relinquish the 6 actual copies of Batman by Sienkiewicz to get the 1 random foil copy? Doesn't feel right.
Thanks,
Vinny

No… I think it’s like the cards where they will be marked “redeemed” so you can’t double dip but you keep the comics. So a set of 6 comics at $90 will get you 1 of 6 of the rarer variant achievement covers of one of those covers…. 7 total comics for $90.

Thanks, I’ve been getting 2 of each. I always have nephews who like stuff like this as gifts.

Never used Collect Forever in the past, but pre-ordered some copies of the Death Of The Silver Surfer.

It’s been taking forever for my latest batches (plural) of Collect Forever comics that I sent to COMC via the COMC mailbox option to be processed. I sent a bunch early March and still not processed. It takes like 2 weeks or so for Collect Forever to box up (must be short staffed there) but then it also takes forever for COMC to process. I think COMC is focusing on processing submissions through their recent March promotion and maybe flagged any item submitted through their mailbox option as low priority.

I received a rak package from Collect Forever this weekend. I got a 1:100 Spider-Gwen and a What If Donald Duck regular cover. Fun stuff and much appreciated!

EDIT: And they also gave out FF Free Comic Book Day comics…, cool cover!

Sent 13 ePack comics to COMC using my mailbox address. They charged me $54 to process them, so $4.15 a book. They described them as “unsupported” because they are DeadPool issues. I put in to redo the descriptions and will see what happens.
It’s a test to see if anything sells and they do label DeadPool cards on COMC. I wonder why they didn’t describe them as, for example, DeadPool/Wolverine Vol 1 Cover 10A. Just the unsupported generic description.
Best to All,
Vinny

Yeah… I’ve had a lot of comics that I have shipped from home banned. I actually have accumulated a pretty large collection of comics COMC is holding that they won’t list.

I’m not sure yet if they are banned or just not described right. Since they charged me, I would think I can list them once they correct the titles.
I’ll report back,
Vinny

I see they listed your CF Deadpool that have Parental Advisory on the label. I have at least one Deadpool “parental advisory”cover with a movie photo that they wouldn’t list… at least initially. What “magic words” did you use in your customer service message to get them to finally list?

I emailed Stacey at customer service and she straightened things out. It was something on their side but they ended up going through. She’s helped me before.
Vinny
My magic words were in the form of a logical question… that they sell Deadpool cards and I was charged to process the comics

Heads up. It looks like price to ship comics has doubled recently. I had been shopping quite a few comics offsite in batches of 15. This normally cost about $20 before taxes to ship the 15 books. Today I went to shop another 15 out and the cost bumped to $38.16 before tax. That’s waaaaaay too steep.
