A difficult SM64 set to come by, a mixture of iconic and prototype CG.

The grade isn’t anything to brag about but the card image itself is A++++ so I was happy to pick this one up for less than the cost of the slab.

Do any of you all know what this is or what its from? I got it years ago in a collection and keep forgetting to ask.

You just reminded me, I have a bunch of these stickers laying around somewhere. I'll see if I can find them. There were some puzzle cards, too.

These were packed inside of Nintendo Power magazine.

I sent out a few O-Pee-Chee Metroid cards to PSA through COMC a couple months ago and a couple came back today. I think these are cool looking cards and I am happy overall with the grades.

Spotted this at Walmart today. No price indicated anywhere on shelf so I left it. I notice it contains trading cards though so that has me curious. Any checklist online anywhere of how many cards in the set? Any chase cards?

Got a couple more Nintendo slabs back today.

And this one bounced back as not something PSA would grade…

I’ve had a few Menko of other properties come back with grades so it’s definitely hit or miss on the menkos.

Yeah PSA pretty much won't touch the Menkos still. CGC will grade them.

Man are PSA tough on those diamond publishing stickers, I have some but I'll have to think twice about sending any to PSA.

I was pretty sure PSA wouldn’t slab these (bar codes on back usually get bounced… I think) so I sent them to CGC instead.

Why did PSA say they wouldn't encapsulate them do you know?

They are from the Amada PP Card Super Mario World set.
I covered the set previously along with most of the Japanese Mario sets.

COMC email says:

“Thank you for your recent grading submission! I'm writing this e-mail to inform you that the following item was not eligible for grading due to the item being returned from PSA as "No Spec Info" and is not supported by our third-party grading partner.”

FWIW … When I bought them from COMC, they identified them as from 1991 Nintendo Bandai Carddass Super Mario World - [Base

A collecting friend tried to grade some and PSA kicked them back also, could be because they are not dated, I could of swore I saw graded cards from this set. I'll check the pop rep.

They are definitely made by Amada and not Bandai, COMC labelled them wrong.

OG Mario. Most folks never realized.

And shout outs to those OPC up there. Doesn’t get much harder. Especially for those 2nd series, white backgrounds. Here’s some more readily available 1st series in raw form. 8s are 9s. And 10’s are unicorns.

Shhh. Nothing to see here, Famicom.
