I decided to stop doing sales - been selling around 300 or so for 11 days but paying $7 each time - last one was above average but going to change my strategy

almost went a full day without selling a card...the shipping change, broken search engine are without a doubt affecting sales

Things have certainly slowed down for me in the last week or so, was averaging 10-12 cards sold a day in April and May, last week it’s been closer to 4 a day.

In January we chose to liquidate our non sports collection. So far we have sold 427 with $13,156 in our store credit account with 195 cards left. I will say I like the ebay buyers better. We lowered low end autos to $4/$5 ebay buyers will get them in bunches, the most was 24 cards at one time. The comc buyers will want another 50% off, I guess thats just the nature of the game.

Maybe this is a dumb question but from the eBay feedback I have read about COMC's communication, I'm not sure I would hear back from them anytime soon.

I won an auction from COMC's eBay store at 10 PM Friday night. I paid right away. Almost 72 hours later and a shipping label hasn't been created. I'm not super concerned but just don't know how long to wait before reaching out. I don't think I have ever had a seller not create the label within 48 hours, most within 24 hours (outside of the few purchases that were never shipped).

I know they sell a shitload of cards everyday and maybe they don't have a big staff working weekends and Mondays are always backed up or something. Auction ended at $12.50 if that matters, maybe they take care of the higher sales first.

Thanks guys!

you'll save 13%+ if you enroll in the site and set up auto pay

Thanks, I actually have an account but haven't been on in a while and never knew about the 13.5%. Im relatively new to the hobby and was chasing down some Court Kings Self Expression cards last fall and created an account to pick one up over there.

It doesn't matter what time of day a person tries to do anything on COMC, it's running quite terrible.

Emailed CS about all the issues the site is having, they were "surprised" and will pass it on to IT.

Not expecting much but COMC would be wise to invest in the damn platform that it's existence is based upon.

I've never subbed slabs w COMC, what are the final auction fees for selling on their site or thru them via eBay auctions? Hard to find on their site

I have auto-pay setup on my COMC account for ebay auctions. I'm looking to bid for a card in auction now, but I'm not sure if it would go for more than my current account balance. If it does, would my account be in the negative and I can deposit the funds after I win the auction, or would it be better to put some extra money now just in case it goes for more than that?

Thinking about sending in all my junk slabs. How much is storage these days. Still 1 cent a card each month?

I'm curious to hear what your sales strategy had been before and from other users. There are a few users that I see run perpetual sales and I had never run one up until recently (outside of promo events) and am doing fairly well - certainly better than regular sales - but I've only been running them because regular priced items have been sitting for too long.

They've changed it a few times - it used to be 3.5% I believe but I never run auctions....

As for strategy sales always attract more eyeballs but recently I've been paying too much (like 3%) just to run them so I'm just pricing items to sell while still accept offers up to 50% off

Wow. I'm definitely tempted to send in junk BGS slabs I got in a collection to blow them out.

How long has it been taking for COMC to post that the received my package, they’ve had 2 orders for about 1 week and they still have not shown as received on my account. So the 2 week hasn’t even started

Around 5 business days after delivery.

I had one delivered to COMC on 6/9 and was marked as received on 6/16.

Has anyone had luck successfully getting COMC to accept sales tax exemption form? I emailed 4 days ago and then followed up yesterday but no response

Anyone having trouble logging into the Bulk Price Editor?

I haven't used it for a while but now when I try to login I get an error that reads: "Failed to sign in. Please try again."

Wanted to check here before reaching out directly to COMC.

Thanks.

Edit: Realized I am running 64 bit. That may be the problem.
