Default NSCC Buyers that you trust?

What dealers have you had great selling experiences (fair value, cash paid, etc.) with at past Nationals? Many thanks!

Depends on the cards and quantity, but the general consensus is that you should shop around first.

There will be a TON of buyers. Have your price and don’t waste time shopping your cards to get a few extra bucks.

The biggest issue you will find is that a lot of dealers will have signs that they are buying, but they are only looking for 'case hits' aka downtowns and the like. Some are only looking for the most liquid things. It really depends on what you have and how much you are looking to get that will dictate which dealers are good buyers or not. If a dealer lowballs you, just say thanks, but I will pass and move onto the next.

Make sure that Dan Dearing/ABC Sportscards is one of the first ones that you try. He doesn’t buy everything but buys a lot. If you have something that he can use then I doubt you will find a better offer.

Thank you for the kind words. We will be constantly buying all show at booths 417, 419, 423 and 425. We will have a full time buying station with a big "ABC Sportscards - Buying" sign, but my staff will also be buying all around the booth, so if my line is too long, please ask anyone else.

We are paying 75-85% on most things. 90% on things like Jordan autos, Shohei autos, Judge autos, etc. We are not picky buyers as we have outlets for good cards at most price points. I will pull what I can use, use post-its with my comp values on them and let you know what percentage we can pay. You can pull back anything you disagree with on value, but that doesn't happen much.

We are very fair with comps. We won't cherry pick them. My goal is to have our customers come back to us year after year. This is my 13th or 14th year with 4 booths at the National, I think. Many of our customers come to us repeatedly because they know they will be treated fairly and professionally. I hope to see you at the show!
Dan

Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250.

Anyone buying bulk prizm/parallels/#d cards stuff like that this year?
I usually do some deals on that stuff every year and haven’t seen many buying threads yet?

There will be tons of ufc guys there though, I’m sure you’ll have no problem selling

Many thanks all for the feedback. Worked with ABC Sportscards, and they were fantastic! Would gladly work with again. Great recommendation, thank you all!
