Really nice stuff. Topps did a pretty nice job with this set.
How good are box values compared to the price on average for this product? I haven't done that much research, but assume like every product these days, most boxes are large losses.

Thanks, it's been a really fun set.

I think the price to value looks great for those that got in on the presale at $240-$300 per hobby box, or if you're able to snag a blaster at Target or GameStop for $30. Of course most of the non-retail stock went to shops and breakers who in turn sold them for $400+. I've watched a ton of this product opened besides my own, and have been pretty selective with what I purchased on the hobby side, so I feel like I've made out better than most so far.

I paid $875 total for the first 2 hobby boxes and hit the Nightcrawler /5 and Nova Clawed /20. Those 2 cards alone should be around $1,200 in value at least. The Samurai Venom /25 out of 4 blasters at $50 each could end up being a ~$1K card. I spent $825 on the other 1.5 hobby boxes, but another Doom/Silver Surfer auto /25 sold for $705, so good value from those as well. So yeah, you're probably taking a bath on a hobby box unless you pull a case hit, low #'d card of a popular character or a nice Spidey parallel. Blasters are a little more forgiving, but at best most of them contain a /199-/399 parallel and at the going rate of $50+ you still have to hit something pretty good to find any value.

I wasn't too keen on the product at first, and then found a blaster and quested for more. I ended up finding 8 at GS for under 30 each.

I would love to try for a clawed card, but the hobbies are just too overpriced. I guess I'll have to wait until the inevitable price drop for singles and maybe finishing some of the insert sets.

Nice man, it's a really fun rip and can't pass it up for $30 or under. I have 2 full base sets and only need Colossus on the X-Men 50th and Wolverine on the New Avengers 20th to complete all the common insert sets. Here's all my duplicate inserts so far...

Now I know who to go to should I try for the inserts!

All of the stores around here are dry--and I won't spend more than $30/blaster. It would have been fun for a hobby, but $450-$500 is not happening.
