Any card listed below .39 is still listed on eBay as .99 . If you offer it for 5 cents in ARM, you only get 95% of 5 cents when it sells. That's why nearly every one of my commons is 39 cents. I'd rather sell it two years from now than sell it for a nickel this month.
great info! always a new trick you can learn...

In my case, there are/were no condition issues.

Is there a way to price a boatload of cards fast, or do you have to go through each and every one?

If you have 32-bit Windows still working on a computer somehow, you can download the old Bulk Repricing Tool. But on current Windows machines, it doesn't work and the person who coded it left the company 5 years or so ago and COMC has never released updated code.
The cheapest way to price multiple cards in a row at the same price is using ** and then pressing enter, because that is the shortcut to copy the last price on the website.

Thank you...

But just to make sure I'm following;

Type "**" into the price box?

And what do you mean by "the last price on website?"

You price one card first, then when it puts you in the next card's price slot, you type ** and it will use the price from the first card.

I'm always confused about how much it costs to sell on COMC...

If I have a card I want to sell for $1
- 50 cents processing fee
- 5% of sale price
- 10% of cashout

Does that cover everything? I am excluding things like tax, shipping, etc.

The buyer pays tax and shipping, not the seller.

GreerFan,
Are you in basic mode or Advanced resellers mode? If you price the card at a $1 in advanced, you also would pay a penny storage fee per month the card doesn't sell after 3 months. But in that case, you wouldn't also have the 25 cents embedded shipping/handling fee.
If you sell for $1 in basic, 25 cents also gets removed for the s/h fee, but there is no penny per month storage fee.

These small cascading fees are the reason we recommend most sellers start by selling only $2-3 cards on COMC rather than spending thousands to submit cards to sell for nickel profits. Best way to profit off of COMC bulk/commons is to buy other people's cards and reprice them, rather than spending money to submit more cards to the site.

I'm glad to send 47 PSA slabbed cards to COMC tomorrow with the free processing event. They are ones I had sitting in boxes wondering if I'd ever get $2 each for. They weren't worth sending in at regular prices and not a good item to sell and ship on eBay.
We shall see,
Vinny

List a couple on the ebay live auctions. See what happens.

Thank you, I used $1 to make the math easy. I was more wondering about what fees I was missing.

But your answer still helped. I've never heard of different selling modes on COMC. So that's certainly interesting. Unless you simply meant are these cards you sent in yourself, or are they cards you are flipping on COMC?

Also, I'm not sure what you mean overall. I think I get what you mean about the embedded .25 s/h in advanced resellers mode because you bought the card on COMC which has that embedded fee. But what do you mean by the fee being removed in Basic? Or did you mean the fee doesn't occur in Basic because these are cards you sent in?

Is there a way to deactivate mails about offers (accepted/countered etc.) from Comc?
I don't want to receive these mails (since I sent a lot of offers) but I also don't want to mark 'staff@comc.com' as spam.

It's kind of weird that they use their official staff mail-address to send these information.

Nope, you can't turn them off. But you can create a rule in your email inbox to move them into a folder you don't check based on keywords.

I've probably explained it 5 times in this thread, but that's a lot to look through.

But here's an explanation easy to locate in my Primer thread.

Being picky if you are sending in cards with no money in your account and plan on just getting money back!!! You missed.

1. The taxes you have to pay to add money to your account for the processing fees. You are buying a service from them, so it is taxed.
2. Storage fee after 3 months if the cards are priced over .75
3. High priced cards have another fee.
4. Your shipping cost to them.
5 Fee to remove cards you send in in top loaders.
6. Processing fees vary.

So if you need a dollar for that card you have to price it around $1.70.

Now the 2 mode are dealing with buyers and the price they see. For that $1.70 the buyer will see $1.70 or 1.95. In the end now a days the buyer will pay around $2.45 for you to get $1

When buying a port: Purchase Price excludes S&H on all items

May help if you read: https://blog.comc.com/selling-rates/

Now I have to wait till monday for USPS to deliver my box to them...

What’s the catch with this free graded cards promo on COMC??

It seems way too good to be true

Thank you. What if I price the card at $1? I didn't mean I want to profit $1. I'm thinking 50 cents for processing, 5 cents (5%) for fee, and then another 4.5 cents on the cash out fee. So if you send a card in and sell it for $1, you'll profit about 40 cents. Again, excluding exterior costs, for lack of a better word. Is this right? It feels like I'm leaving something out, but maybe not.

It is hardly work for COMC and selling graded cards have less returns. Cards are already researched, have higher selling prices for more commissions, and are more likely to stay in the ecosystem to be sold again for more commissions.
