Looking at the team with all the people underperforming, random pitchers, and injuries I would have never thought this.

Not a fan of the Astros, but what they are doing is certainly impressive!

Yes sir! I’ll counter your Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Bettes with Zach Short and Cooper freaking Hummel.

This is the most fun I’ve had watching Astros baseball since 2022. That year we just dominated with all stars, this year it’s plugging holes with unsuspecting journeymen.

Bennett Sousa does not get enough run down here, he’s been stellar and Cooper Hummel puts together great ABs.

Lol. Hershiser bringing up sign stealing during the beatdown Saturday is hilarious. Just like on Blowout. Never mind Houston has another ring since the scandal. But yeah I’m sure Houston was cheating in Dodger Stadium.

He brought it up in the context of the Dodgers (especially Casparius) possibly tipping pitches. Try not to get too worked up.

Im not worked up. Its pathetic that Dodger fans especially and guys like Hershiser can’t let stuff go. If their guy was tipping pitches that’s on him, but it has zero to do with 2017. It’s embarrassing that so many can’t let it go.

The problem is that those who did it were never punished, but Altuve's the last known cheater left, although ironically, he's the biggest one.
Once he's off the team, at that point, the matter should be closed for those who understandably have an issue with the injustice that occurred.

Oh the cope of Dodger fans. I did win a nice dinner from my mother over this too. That’s what she gets for being a Dodger fan.

Well, gee, y'all bandwagoners love your team so much, it only took you 'til the end of June to make a thread for them.

Using the same GIF over and over is lazy.

Astros are 42-2 when leading after 7 innings.

The lack of participation in an Astros team thread is a yearly thing around here. I've never understood it. It's not like they are the lowly Rockies.

Altuve being the biggest cheater is completely false.

I love it, really wish Altuve would play more into the heel. Hit a jack or a hit and then touch his shoulder

The sweep of the Dodgers in LA is impressive.
Astros jump to #1 in the power rankings this week.
I used to like the Astros with Nolan and J.R. Richard, when I first started watching baseball. I'd also root for those late 90's Houston teams to make it through (since the Dodgers were usually already out). It's easy to forget the Astros were a hard luck story up to less than 10 years ago. The move to the AL has produced incredible results for them, for sure, all this in only 13 seasons.
A World Series rematch this year is a distinct possibility.

These clowns and their Altuve cheater narrative. It was legit guys like Evan Gattis and Josh Reddick, scrubs. It’s been corroborated that Altuve didn’t cheat. He’s still put up stellar numbers before and AFTER.
