Default The Griffey Superfractor

Hey everyone, I won this on auction back in May and before I post it on IG, I wanted to post it here first. It's an incredible card, and I hope this can be a place we can discuss it more in detail. I'm interested in hearing from collectors and giving everyone a chance to voice their opinions.

It's a really nice card but it is only one of many superfractors.

Must be a great card to bring out your first post after being here 2 years.

Why is it called “The” instead of “A”?

Is there something unique about this particular card?

No offence OP but didn't you see the 0 feedback bidder bid it up from $15K to $20K? Usually that's an major red flag to walk away.

Cool card but it’s no Roki Sasaki Konami arcade signature edition card.

I think I know what’s going on here. Discuss.

I have a sinking suspicion that the shilled auction, the pre-IG first BO post, that both this and another $15k super were sold by the same consignor and bought by most likely the same 225 feedback buyer, and that another first time poster immediately appears out of nowhere to comment on this card are not unrelated things.

It’s “a” Griffey superfractor. Not quite “the”.

If this is THE Griffey Superfractor, what does that make the 2010 version that OP also bought from Hoody's a month ago?
