I really think they are just delaying it so it releases the week of National, and there will be a box redemption pack that you can get for opening your box at the Topps booth

I admit that I don't really understand the EQL stuff but isn't going to be a pain but deal with that during the National? Like trying to see if you can get in while also at the show especially when you aren't sure about the wifi at the National.

You have an hour window to enter, and then winners are randomly chosen.
So it shouldn’t be an issue at all.

I don't think it is the reason it is delayed but I do wonder if any of their plans changed when something happened behind the scenes and Travis Scott stopped showing up on WWE TV. The rumor was he'd have a tag match this summer involving Cena and not only did that never happen but now Jelly Roll has a tag match coming up instead. I'm sure its still releasing, maybe waiting for National or Summerslam to help push it, but it lost some of its oomph when the namesake on the release is MIA.

It will still sell well due to the rookie autos but personally I don't care about Scott or the Cactus Jack branding so I'm not sure I'll pick up any boxes unless the EQL is reasonable and I somehow get picked for one.

I see this product as a litmus test for Topps.

Chrome was a value when it was released. Sapphire was overpriced. I don't count the WM exclusive CJ. So, if this is $299 and under with a guaranteed auto then that is reasonable. If it is over $300, it will be a test (it will sell out, but will it drop hard like Sapphire).

After missing last week, doubt they would've been able to get this out to the big bois before they all left for The National next week.

So you mine as well pump the breaks and wait til it's all over with at this point...

Would've been nice to see some of it in person though next week, help make a decision if I wanted to bust a box or two...

Per WON "Travis Scott and WWE had a full falling out, the nature of which hasn’t gotten out yet, but it’s why it’s open season to knock him. He was scheduled to be the celebrity surprise that was to be revealed this month in WWE 2K25 but was replaced with El Grande Americano."

Wonder how that impacts this set now?

Not seeing much of anything when it comes to Travis Scott merchandise when it comes to WWE's site or Fanatics.

Pretty sure he had his own line of shirts and title belt.

This set may never see the light of day if they are that opposed to putting more money into his pockets...

Now we can finally rest easy without hearing that godawful fien song a million times over.

I’m still hopeful this hits the Topps website Monday and dealers at National will have it available. Would be yet another massive fumble by Topps if not.

National and Summerslam next weekend. If this doesn’t release….strip them of the license and give it back to panini lol

It truly could be out of Topps hands. If the WWE is done with him, and golly should they be, they might just reimburse Topps for the product loss and tell them to destroy the cards.

If the set is dead, well can we be honest, the cards looked incredibly dull and bland so to me, nothing of value lost.

This is the most likely outcome - time to consider this set DOA and move on. Not a huge loss.

If this is what ultimately happens and some cards leaked out, expect premiums on those cards.
