Seeing all the sinophobia hurled @a generational big amid rising SE asian geopolitical tensions is legit sad.

This ain't no 24hr Bol Bol honeymoon in Reno.

Proud to say I was the first passenger on this bullet train routed to the Financial Freedom prefecture.

He'll be a good player for the Blazers, but the hype is too much. I think he's more like Pau Gasol.

Im still still a believer in Zach Edey. And Chet Holmgren came to my attention through the Finals. Haven't had time to watch Summer League. Is he like any of those players, or something altogether different, like a Johnny Furphy?

From the way you're talking about him, he's no power forward. Joker is just a weird player. Are you calling yang a card?

Yang reminds me most of a young Pau Gasol, but better shooting the 3 (shot 33.3% last year in China).

Here's Gasol's first game:

based on Gasol's FT and jump shooting, I have no doubt that if he were coming into the league today he would be 35-38% 3pt shooter on volume, maybe even better.

If Yang is half as good as Pau he will be a really good player. People totally undervalue Pau

I mean this should have been blatantly obvious to any Passport Bro with Hunan league pass.

Things that really stick out to me:

- very agile and light on his feet...moves more like a combo 4 (chet/yannis)
- maintains composure, able to switch speeds according to defensive reads
- loves initiating offense at the 3 with dho's and finding active cutters...far more eurocentric than any asian prospect I've ever seen

This guy is the complete antithesis of Klingon, and a brilliant hedge against that fatal draft blunder. Love to see how he and Dame operate, as the closest thing he ever had to a skilled big was the Bosnian Bearmarket.

It's actually proven that he would be. The emphasis on the stretch 4 began in around 2013. Before 2013, most 4's and 5's were always expected not to shoot behind the arc. You can clearly see the change with players like Gasol and Chris Bosh.

Gasol averaged around 11 three-point shots a season up to 2013 while shooting 24%

From 2014 until the end of his career, he averaged 67 threes a season (1 a game) and shot 43%.

Blazers' Yang Hansen Was Shocked to Be Drafted: 'I Was Just Finishing My Fried Chicken'

Don't know if this a refreshing example of humbleness and humanity, or early signs of Zion dissolution.
