Pulled a paper bowman green auto /99 last week from a last-on-the-shelf Bowman blaster. Timely pull it seems

I’ll admit it: I snagged a $20 1st Bowman non-auto refractor after HR #4.

He’s on my fantasy team and I was just so amped up…

As an Astros fan this was one of those games.

But glad I watched for this.

One of baseballs rarities.

Just think back on June 14 he had a .225/.228/.405 slash line. Sure turned that around quick. What made it even more impressive was 3 opposite field hr.

He’s on a 12 game and also a 6 at bat hit streak. Will be fun to watch today’s game to see if he can extend both hit streaks and maybe even clobber another homer or two. Fun to see players get locked in like this.

I didn’t realize I had a USA Stars and Stripes silhouette relic autograph of his I check those cards in my collection once in awhile and I realized that card of Nicholas Kurtz from the 17u team was actually him.

Mighty impressive night for any baseball player, nonetheless a rookie. Wow!

his slash line is crazy .305/.374/.686.

1.06 OPS
187 OPS+
184 wRC+
3.0 fWAR

Since July (rank among AL hitters)

19 games...

AVG: .425 (1st)

OBP: .494 (1st)

SLG: 1.082 (1st)

OPS: 1.576 (1st)

R: 22 (1st)

2B: 13 (1st)

HR: 11 (1st)

RBI: 27 (1st)

XBH: 25 (1st)

Don't think ever seen a rookie out of the gate quite like this in just 66 games.

Default Official Nick Kurtz Thread.

6/6 with four homers is stupid. Every year needs a phenom or two and he’s now the guy. The fact that his TC autos are hitting when this happened is just serendipitous blind luck for all card commerce- Fanatics, shops, shows, etc.
This is the fun that separates sports cards from gaming cards IMO. Performance driven mania.

He’s from Lancaster, PA. That’s where the “Big Amish” nickname came from.

We don’t call every Californian dude a surfer boy.

Calling him big Amish is cheesy.
