ALT-1 is listed at the back of the list. I suspect almost all the cards listed under 498 are ALT-1 as I don’t know when they added that spot.

I haven't seen a 498 Wilson. Even the parallels have ALT-1 where the number should be. It's just an uncorrected error on Topps part.

I'm still fascinated by the people who say the site is harder to navigate. Can you please explain or describe what makes it harder now? Is there something you miss from the old version? Obviously I search differently than you do and it may simply be that we do it differently. Also, are you using a cell or a desktop?

The problem I have is breaking down all the subsets. It is easy to get to the main set, far more difficult for the subsets. It will not list them all and far more time consuming than it was in the past. It needs to be similar to COMC where you go to a specific set and ALL the varying subsets/variations are shown.

TCDB forum posts indicate folks were pulling the corrected version from mega boxes.

I looked through the whole list before I posted the other day, the set only went to 700, there was no ALT-1. Maybe Max added it after he saw the post. I still don't understand the reason for putting inserts and parallel cards before the actual set. Hopefully, those that have ALT-1 listed as 498 will move them to the correct spot now.

The main problem is all the sets are not listed on one page to see, so that you can click on the individual set you want. You have to move 6 pages at a time to try and find the set or subset you are looking for. The main set is not at the front, I was just trying to get to the 2025 Topps set, and I had to click on 6 4 times to finally get to the main set. I started on page 17. I could list a dozen or more things, but I dont have the time. I sold on Sportlots for 15 years and I 've had other buyers complain about it too.

I don't get what you're saying I think because I use the site differently than you do. Can you please give me a hypothetical search situation where this is a problem so I can try to recreate it and experience it on my end? Or if you want to make a little video that would work, too. But I do get that you just said you don't have time.

After I sign in, I put 2025 Topps in the search bar. Bryanscs, I'm not an idiot, I sold there for years. When I hit search, the set that comes up first, is an insert set, 2025 Topps 1990 Topps, not the base set. Then I have to hit the double arrow forward 3 times, the single arrow forward 3 times and the 2025 Topps set begins about 3/4 down the page-after numerous insert or parallel sets. Why not have the regular set first and all the others follow? I'm a set builder, regular set, so I could care less about the parallels and inserts. It's like that for every set I check, a guessing game as to when the regular set will show up. Since there is no box to put in a page number, hitting the double and single arrows is the only way. The old version had a list of all things related to the set and you could pick what set, base, insert or parallel set with one click. Very time consuming and aggravating, not worth the time. If I have to buy, I buy more in trading groups than I do at Sportlots now. Never been a big buyer, but if it's a cumbersome site then others will tire of wasting their time.

Can't this be solved just by searching "Base" after what you're looking for?

There is a 'set search' at the top of the page (The word set, with a magnifying glass beside it, it's located to the right of the normal 'search'). There is no need to type anything in, as it's a drop down menu.

I'm assuming we cannot use any special characters in our sportlots searches like -retro to remove any results with the word retro in the title or parentheses like we can on ebay.

So was it you that was saying it could be solved by having a submenu on the L side of the screen that has checkboxes/links for each insert set/subset card in the "2025 Topps" search for example? Yeah, so I guess with 2025 Topps not only do you get Topps subsets and such, but you get every single product that starts with 2025 Topps like 2025 Topps Heritage, 2025 Topps Chrome, 2025 Topps Archives, etc.

I just did it and it worked for me. Are you sure you're clearing your filters between searches?

Yes, you can exclude words in your search. We don't use the "-", instead Sportlots uses the "^" sign. So if you want to exclude words in your search you could do something like this "2024 Topps Baseball ^Chrome". This would return all cards from 2024 Topps Baseball that doesn't contain the word "Chrome".

Adding the word "base" doesn't always work. That word is only used with the core set for the manufacturer. So there will be a "Topps Base" set, but we don't add the "base" word for other Topps sets like "Topps Chrome" or "Topps Allen & Ginter".

If you are looking for only cards from a specific set (or subset), I would do what bryanscs has suggested and click on the "Search with a magnifying glass" icon at the top of the page. This then works similar to the old "Search By Set" feature the old screens use to have. It allows you to filter down to a specific set you want to look for before the results are shown.

If you don't want to use this, another way is to utilize the filter options on the left side after you do your search. But the problem with this is we only show a limited number of sets to choose from, so what I would suggest is making sure you add enough search words to limit the amount of subsets that come up on the left side. Maybe also utilize the "^" to omit keywords in your search. So in your example you could search for:

"2024 bowman chrome prospects ^mega"

Then on the left side filter menu you will see a "Chrome Prospects (5733)".

Click on that to filter out just that set from your search results.

** Hint: You can also add sports to your search to eliminate other sports in your search. So you can search for "2024 Chrome Football" and it will automatically remove all other sets from other sports. Just saves you a filter step.

Has anyone been able to reach support@sportlots.com and receive a response? I sent one message about the "yellow star seller" function not working. I obtained yellow star for Feb through July and the site has yet to update and I have not received the associated automated email. On 8/4/2025 I sent email about UPS losing an order for a month and then magically delivering from CA to MA 30 days later with NO receipt acknowledgement or tracking info other than final delivery on the other side of the country. I received a ding on my accuracy score for ~250 cards which has torpedoed by rating for an obvious UPS error. Am I using the wrong email address?

Preferred seller status is based on 3 months average sales, not 6 and requires an inventory score of 98% or higher (depending on sales) . My guess is the ding on on inventory accuracy is why you are not getting recognized automatically.

I hope they can fix this for you - seems harsh to use a postal error as a basis for inventory accuracy. I thought if a seller had tracking a ding would not count against them.

For me navigating the site has been and is now a 6 on a 1 to 10 scale. It all depends on what you collect.

I collect Nebraska Cornhusker football players. Now there are over 1000 of them. No way to look for them as a hold. I go one by one. Several years ago I asked about doing something that would help speed up my searches. A want list or even better some way to mark cards that I have. Say they come up in red so I could easier see them and not think about check if I need them. When I spend time and not find anything I do not come back for a while.

I'm waiting for them to do matches with my want list on TCDb. I'm sure I would be buying a lot.
