Buyer Beware - 2009-10 Stephen Curry Auto /499

Have been recently helping a friend with a collection spanning all sports.

Found this Curry auto /499 and went searching for comps on CardLadder and found the same card had sold in June of this year

Now, everything in this collection was basically pack pulled by their family member and everything that has been sent for grading has come back legit. There hasn't been any reason to question the legitimacy of any of the cards thus far. Not sure if the person who bought this was on the boards but figured I'd pass it along.

Hard to do much sleuthing via phone but did that eBay seller (listing link shows dead) just list your friend’s card (using one of your uploaded images)?

I’ve previously owned this card (obviously not jersey number) and would never trust a $275 sale as a comp. I’d expect $800-$1500 raw depending on auto/condition now.

We never posted that card until yesterday so not sure, BO accepted was $275 so assume they just jumped on first offer. Not sure they would get their money though as I would hope it wouldn’t pass authenticity check.

Is it real? That is a beautiful card. I am a buy at $275, go as high as $350...

or $50k if gem.

In any case, as someone who actually buys Curry RC autos (including stickers) from time to time, I definitely appreciate the heads up.
