WGN and TNT were amazing! WGN syndicated Seinfeld, and it had baseball. I was hooked.

Kids these days don't know how good they've got it and they're running around chasing Pokemons.

Harry Caray was my babysitter after school, with Steve Stone providing some great baseball education.

I shared a National pickup in the 2000s thread, and thought this thread deserved a card too.

I snagged this bad boy to compliment the Shadow Series /99 that I already have.

1999 Pacific Revolution Premier Date /49

I haven't decided if the other Larkin 90s card I picked up will be posted here or if it deserves its own thread.

I made a thread for this card because it is so important in my collection. But I wanted to put it in this epic thread as well.

1998 Essential Credentials Now /25

Completes the Essential Credentials run for my 90s Larkin PC.

Why did you choose the "thumbs down" icon in your reply to him?

LCS had some late 90’s packs. Not a bad haul.

How do we rank the 90's cards (years)?
I tend to think 00 is still 90's, since they were designed in the 90's technically, but honestly, they still mostly look 90's......By 01 upper deck, fller, topps sort of already went 2000's style, but Donruss came back for some 90's vibes, and pacific still did it's thing (last year too )...so i consider it a blend.....

99>98>97>00>96>01>95>94 to me......is the order...though i can see why some say 98>99

I don't care to rank them because just in general terms the 1990s as a whole is my favorite era of cards with each year being special for its own reason.

I'd go 98>99>97>96>00>94>95. But frankly I could make an argument for just about any order.

This is pretty close to mine as well. 98 > 99 > 97 > 01 > 96 > 94 > 95 > 00.

2000 for some reason lost some serial #s on sets, most notably no Bowman Chrome Gold Refractors, no serial #ed parallels in Bowman's Best, and no serial #s on Finest Gold Refractors. Being a Rockies collector E-X really burned me in 2000 with Helton's Essential Credential Future being /1, and Ben Petrick's Essential Credential Now also being /1.

2000 is a great year if you're a fan of Pacific products.
