Topps National Q&A—did it happen?

Seems like I haven’t heard of any news from it, did they have it?

yea they had it.

Nothing really learned except Fanatics canned Alan so no Trivia and just a handful of box giveaways.

They hinted at the possibility of the return of etching (believe it when i see it)

i asked about Bobby being on the 75th packaging and it wasnt confirmed but expect to see multiple players on the box. Clay hinted at a bigger celebration of the anniversary spreading across more(all?) releases besides Flagship

they handed out a nice Roki auto (two differnet, 50 of each) on the way out, which was nice

It was a good session for me as I won a box to WWE Topps Chrome. I think there are 3 variants of the Roki card they gave away at exit.

Overall, as mentioned above nothing new really leaked from the session. They will be including Cal Raliegh to extended in support of the buyback program in case he gets MVP.

Also, the only new info I learned this year came 12 hours after when I ran into Clay. Turns out the employees get special cards for milestones. I now own Clay’s 25 Year Anniversary GPK card (It’s also signed)

With breakers buying everything in sight, Topps doesn't really need to answer questions from collectors any more.....financially speaking, we don't matter....

Do they need to? No.

But it's nice of them to offer it.

-Free little buffet
-State of the Union type information
-free raffle/hobby box giveaways
-Q&A
-everyone gets a hard signed RC at the end
