Woof, 7 walks. Not going to win many games with that.

For a team that desperately needs starting pitching, having Melton in the bullpen is peak insanity. He is way too talented to be a relief pitcher, especially on this team and the situation they are in.

You are better than being fickle like regularp, you're on or off, gotta pick a lane!

Casey Mize: 10 ER in 7 IP.
Riley Greene: turning into Joey Gallo before our eyes. Strikeouts in half his at-bats.
Colt Keith: Four total hits; none extra-base. (.375 OPS against lefties on the season)
Zach McKinstry: Lol @ thinking he was legit.
Javy Baez: He swung at this pitch:

Scott Harris is going to sit on his hands at the deadline; MAYBE he'll scrounge for one more bullpen arm. Probably somebody who tops out around 93 even though this pen has among the lowest rates of swing and miss in the entire league.

This team has one and a half seasons left of Skubal before he leaves to get the richest contract for a pitcher in history. We know it isn't gonna be with Detroit. If they aren't gonna go all-in while he's here, they might as well trade him. It'll be clear that the timeline for Harris is with Max Clark and McGonigle, not the guys already in place.
We don’t see eye to eye often but I’m with you on EVERY stance you stated. If Detroit isn’t going to go all-in, because these opportunities to win a World Series are rare, then trade him for the best offer next season. Detroit still has control of his contract to the end of 26.

Lots of flip flopping on the wagon! 7.5 game lead on Cleveland, magic number to clinch the division is 33.

I think every starter last night again had an OPS over MLB average. Strong.

Best record in the AL 8-2 in last 10, 9 up on the Royals, 9.5 up on Cleveland.

And regularp goes missing again. What a time to be alive!

It is like some people have never watched an entire season of baseball. Teams are going to have run patches over the course of 162 games. Team is fine, they are going to win the division. The playoffs are a reset so whether they win by 1 or 20 or get a bye or not, I don't really care. Nobody in the AL is super scary to play so whatever match up we get, we get.

You're ok hairy, I forgive you wanting to jump off. Definitely not the guy who tried to victory lap the Tigers demise a short couple of weeks ago.

Going to the game tomorrow as a true fan would!
