My guess is that he's moving it up in order to find replacements if there is fallout.

~3 weeks is more than enough time to pay/know if you can pay.

That shouldn't surprise anyone.

The new draft time is a suggestion (per the OP).

The 2 day difference in pay deadline isn't nearly so big an issue as changing the draft date at so late a juncture. I've had it on my calendar for the (former? is this change permanent?) date for a while now.

As posted above the draft date was tentative. Two owners are unable to draft that date. Yes, I asked for people to pay sooner than later so we dont have someone unable to pay which cancels the season. I was in the middle of texting/messaging every owner (because it seems like that's the best way for direct, quicker responses) to see if the new date works. Ifl

Hey, if everyone's ok with all the changes and I'm the only one who thinks it wasn't handled properly (I'm not mad, but it wasn't handled right) then I won't say another word about it.

How was it not handled right? The commish amended the OP (where it's your responsibility as well to check back in) & literally just said he's reaching out to everyone individually.

Lets not make a big deal out of something that isn't.

I prefer the new date for the draft as I like that it is going into the long weekend.

It can be tough to get everyone the following day after a holiday to jump on.

I really hope you're able to make the 28th work. I've had 4 owners reach out stating the 26th (due date) & 28th (draft date works) and id really like you to be apart of the league. You're one of the originals and something like this shouldn't steer you away, well hopefully not.

...in fact, I have an upgraded Zoom account that has no limitations for time. So if I can attend, we can have an actual "live" draft if everyone wants to really feel like they're in the room together.

Once everyone is paid, depending on what everyone would like, I can do the draft order or we can wait until right before the draft. Me personally, I prefer letting Yahoo do the random 30 minutes before the draft. If everyone else wants it done manually I'm okay with that too.

**Update** 7 Owners now paid, spoke with a few in regards to payments. Still waiting to hear from one or two owners. I didnt know if I did.t wait for Yahoo that it would need to be done manually. I want no part of doing that. So, regardless if everyone was to pay right this second, i'd just prefer to have Yahoo do it as well. Sleeper has an automatic randomizer for the draft that locks the order once pressed, I figured Yahoo had the same.

Yes, this is how yahoo does it: once the draft room is open (typically a half hour before the draft begins) the draft order is revealed. Given all payments are required to be submitted at that juncture, it's a moot point: no need for you to worry about setting the draft order/inputting anything manually/etc.

I noticed in LeagueSafe a couple people paid with different emails this time leaving open two extra slots showing unpaid. Not sure how it works, but will you need to delete those two lines?

That way when you get that last payment it will show as all money collected?

Just a heads up (and a big one): BobandIcards hasn't signed in since 8/7. If you haven't touched base w/him via email, there's a chance he's either abandoned this league and/or has no idea that the payment deadline is coming up/doesn't know what the draft situation is.
