Default Price stickers on slabs

Seems fairly common enough practice, but what is the reasoning to have them on the actual slab?

I was thumbing through a box of graded cards at a show and may have bought one or two - but it became a quick nope where I do not want to be obligated to try and remove them, to have something presentable in my PC.

There are some stickers that easily peel off. I use them on my slabs I price. I've tested removing them and it's pretty simple. I agree with the other stickers tho. It ruins the slab. I also have receive stickers on slabs from whatnot purchases and that annoys me as now I have to try to remove this without leaving residue behind.

Because the slab protects the card and all that matters is the card.

You don't own a bottle of Goo Gone?

Graded card sleeves are like 5 cents each. I’m sure it’s frustrating for sellers to calculate that into the “net to me” price.

I'm sure the rationale is that someone could somehow switch the sleeves without being noticed.

Ya'all nuts, but most people put them on the team bag anyway. If they are the standard price tags, goo-gone or lighter fluid should work. Just refrain from smoking while you do it.
