I think both feel like relics. It's like Exquisite vs Ultimate Collection back in the day, and I was team Ultimate. Nowadays I'm more Exquisite. It's definitely a taste thing, I suppose.

I owned the complete 2017 Flawless /25 set, and 5 of the 2017 NT cards. To me, the 2017 horizontal feels weak compared to the 2014 version. I enjoy discussing different opinions, so I appreciate yours.

I like cards where you can see the player's whole body as opposed to something like the NT where they're cut off at the waist

The photo doesn't bother me, but the horizontal card does. Same reason I can't super excited about at 2009 NT Curry. 1955 and '56 Topps, too. Horizontal cards just don't do it for me.

How does grade not matter? Grade is the only thing that matters. The card is 70K ungraded. 10/10 makes it 4-6x that based on grade.

I'd be more interested in the NT vs Flawless debate if the Flawless were an actual rookie card. But it's not. It's an insert.

Probably his best insert. But there's only one Mahomes rookie insert I'm interested in buying, and it's a high grade gemmint copy of this:

The grade can be 10/10 for a 1 color patch. Buy the grade all you want. Trimming and authentication are valid reasons to grade, for me. Go watch one of the many videos of people resubmitting their PSA 9's. At least a 50% success rate for PSA 10 crossovers. I think it's a fad that won't hold up.

PSA is grading over 2 million cards this month. Junk slab era.

Once found a PSA 10 version of the notable signatures "Patty Ice" and just couldnt get the guy to move it. He's since deleted his account, so it's lost.

I saw this card on COMC and am wondering what the pricing would be? It is a pretty sharp looking card with the colors. It is also /25, but from the National Convention which I am assuming lowers the interest. Any ideas on value or desirability? The asking price seems quite high, but I could be wrong. Thank you
