Yes, as spuds stated, the point was that if the other two were playing some harder teams the last 3 games, the Yankees could have gained some ground by beating up on Washington. They only picked up 1 game on Toronto during the series.

Fitting that Volpe reaches base on an error.

I can't remember the last time Volpe scored a run. Way to go Rice. 4 - 0 now.

We really need to dump Warren out of the rotation.

Grand slam to make it 4 - 4. Thanks Volpe for the extra out.

Cam Schlittler or Will Warren which one deserves a rotation spot. I know my choice just curious to see if most people agree.

Rn Schlittler but the league hasn't made adjustments yet. Warren belongs in AAA.

I agree if I were the Yankees I would try to hide Schlittler as much as possible as I think the less other teams get to scout him the better it will be. I know being in a race for the division and wildcard spot prevent them from not using Schlittler and we will know by the playoffs whether he is up to the challenge or not. Warren is not ready yet he just seems to let teams back in games such as last night that should’ve been put away.

Assuming we make the playoffs, I would go Fried, Schlittler, Rodon. Break up the lefties. Schlittler is promising. I would also call up our best arm in the system and see if they can be a secret weapon out of the pen down the stretch. I know Yankees don't do that, but they should.

I agree with this strategy.

Judge needs to swing at the first pitch more often he looks like a damn statue.

Judge walks on 6 pitches bases loaded for Bellinger who fouls out to 3rd. Yankees just refusing to put this one away rbi single Rice 8-1 Stanton strikes out to end the 6th.

I suggest we all get right with Jesus as when Volpe hits a home run after McMahon hits a single it’s some kind of omen. 10-1 Yankees.

Bringing Caballero in as a defensive replacement for Stanton saved a double.
