I was thinking about this yesterday. My posts on here have gone to about 97% negative lately and it's because of what Fanatics is doing to the hobby.

I decided to open one of my boxes and hit the #1/41 Cactus Jack parallel of Nia Jax #13 in the 3rd pack and a Orange Refractor /25 of John Cena. No auto.

I don't think you can make money without hitting an auto. Maybe I'm under-estimating the value of the base cards though....who knows.

You couldn’t have got those cards on eBay? How much are they on eBay? How much did you spend on boxes? On its face, what you’re saying makes zero sense, unless you’re talking about pulling 1/1s or #/5s, which in that case you’re talking about an outlier.

It is because the Wrestlemania singles are worth so much. I can't imagine it is sustainable and it doesn't make any actual sense. I guess we will see how it plays out.

Nope , I havent seen a single Chrome Base Auto Variation Red Parallel of Bronson Reed like the redemption I pulled. I wouldn't of bought the 1/1 superfractor main event auto of Charlotte I pulled, nor the Tiffany base parallel red refractor 5 of 5 gem mint 10 from PSA that I pulled. It's a gamble for sure but in some instances with Chrome Hobby I paid less for the card by buying the box. Not to mention the orange /25 Hollywood hogan auto i pulled, the number 10 of 10 black refractor auto of Drew I pulled. Overall I had some good pulls that I only would have gotten by opening boxes. Not to mention the bron breakker frozenfractor I pulled, some dude is trying to collect all 5 of those and I only got 1 by opening boxes.

The hop has to be that the boxes dry up, but man, with how boxes are looking, they printed this to the moon. It's a small-ish checklist, but they have parallels up to 299 I think and parallels seem to be a handful per box. Did anyone try to run the math on the amount of boxes made?

It’s very possible to find those on eBay. I bought a HHH, Hogan, Rock, and multiple other supers from Chrome this year at the price of maybe two cases.
