I dunno but dude is having a beast of a year for someone the hobby has written off. First time I’ve ever heard someon describe a dude with an ops >.900 as trash.

Not sure people used the word “trash” but for a defensive liability he is better suited as a DH but lacks the big power regular Designated Hitters tend to have, that is the main reason people disagree with the absurd contract he signed. Furthermore he has a very questionable attitude which rubs a lot of people the wrong way and really doesn’t help his case.

I love Soto and think a 30/30 season with 40+ HR's and a .900+ OPS is awesome, but...

I guess I'm a bit of a traditionalist. Would love to see him put up a .300/.400/.500
