Sean Taylor Collection

I've been a Skins/Commanders fan my entire life. I was so happy when my team drafted Sean Taylor in the 1st round back in 2004. He was so fun to watch in college at Miami and his combination of coverage skills and hitting ability were unmatched. We all know his story and how he was tragically killed.

Here is my collection which has been 20+ years in the making. Always looking to add ones I don't have but they are hard to find especially the rare ones.

Great stuff. The orange Canes jersey pops on cards, but I think the 04 BC Red Refractor is my favorite here.

His prices have continued to rise as years pass. I'm very lucky to have got in early on a lot of what I have compared to what they sell for now.

I am a huge Sean Taylor fan since I am a huge miami hurricane fan! I’ve been looking for 3 cards forever to complete my 2021 Illusions set of his. Do U by any chance have an extra hyper, sunburst, or dots (purple trim) U’d be willing to sell or trade? I literally look daily for those cards. It’s really the only set of his I have. Your collection is incredible.

Great collection. I am also a lifelong Skins fan. To my knowledge there were no certified autographs of Sean Taylor. I have an uncertified autograph that I believe is authentic. I guess I should send it to PSA.

I’ll have to check. There are a few parallels that never pop up. Some of his college uni cards are my favorite.

I only have one Hyper and no Sunburst. Still need that one.

The Dots/Galaxy are tricky since they are very similar. I'm pretty sure the Dots has the blue text and the Galaxy has the purple text.

I appreciate U checking! If U ever come across any of those please keep me in mind. I’ll let U know if I can ever find a sunburst or 2 so U can add that one. You’re corfect about the Dots/Galaxy, it took me forever to figure that out. Such a slight difference and most people don’t realize it and list most for sale as Galaxy or stardust when they’re actually the dots. Can’t believe I have the 1of1 but cant find those 3 cards. Really?! That would make my day to finally get the Galaxy (purple font) variant. I have so many of the Dots (blue font) variant, from buying what people labeled Galaxy and not being able to see the font color close enough in pictures and not knowing the difference in the 2 cards soon enough. Would be amazing if U’d be willing to sell it to me, just let me know how U would like to go about it.

It’s cool that they are still putting Sean Taylor in so many sets but I totally get what U mean about killing your wallet. I was so excited to find the 1of1. They make it so hard and expensive to get every variant of a player especially in sets like Flawless, which is why I was blown away by your collection. I showed your collection to my nephew who is also a huge Sean Taylor and miami Hurricane fan and he was blown away as well.
