While no, this is definitely not a Reggie White level acquisition, the Packers have needed an edge rusher for a while, and Kenny Clark was not it. Kenny was a great block absorber, but he was never one to get sacks, or even that many tackles. I don't know the Cowboys D well enough to know if they have linebackers or other D Line that can benefit from a block absorber, but the Packers need an edge rusher more than they do someone that takes up blocks and doesn't do much besides. An increase in sacks, pressures and QB hits is sorely needed against the Lions and Vikings, and they focused on WR and other needs in the draft, so this makes a lot of sense for them. Even if Parsons is half the player he has been, that's still an improvement from what they've had. They don't need him to be a Reggie White, they need him to be a Santana Dotson.

Parsons says he will wear 1 the first player to wear it since Curly Lambeau. It has been a unofficial retired number as the team in the past has not issued the number.

He is finally traded and I thought they would hush about it but it's actually got worse. Would have thought Bart Starr came back from the dead. I think Dallas done pretty well on the trade.

Dallas could have gotten a lot more had they put him on the trade block back n March before FA started and teams had cap space and willing to give more draft picks. |

Just what you want to see in a team leader. 100% healthy now that's he's with a new team. Call it reinvigoration. The Ben Simmons way!

Yeah I’m curious about this as well. They said L4/L5 facet John sprain. I’ve had a similar injury but to my L5/S1 and got the same shot. Didn’t help as much as I hoped. Couldn’t imagine playing an elite sport. Lower back pain sucks

I admit I am worried about Micah's back and reports he's going to have an epidural to give him some pain relief.
It's going to be kind of anti-climactic if they don't play him week 1 but it may be the smart move. It's actually probable that it's the smart move at this point.

Literally the smartest thing Dallas has done in the past 3 seasons.
Free up a boatload of cap space to finally be able to address the ridiculous patchwork run game strat. And beef up their primary areas of need which are the linebacking corp and secondary. Not to mention eliminate the potential locker room distractions from a 'star' that has a tendency of throwing teammates under the bus when times get tough. While it'll be hard to replace MP from a 1:1 perspective, they've really had no issue drafting quality lineman on both sides of the ball. It's kind of what they do best.
