I am just curious as to how people on this board feel about his unlicensed cards, I had never heard of him until earlier today. The cards look great but are very expensive. Would anyone here invest in his cards?

Feels like I suddenly entered a p2020 time warp. And my paper gains portfolio shows +40,000% just waiting on my shipment noti on 500ct Fucci Trouts.

I mean Tyson Beck predated the P2020 thing. I assume you mean the cards he releases himself? Mostly basketball right? I don't think they're "unlicensed" though. I for one miss Topps Fire.

They aren't licensed by the league. He does collabs with athletes (Giannis will be his most recent one) but the cards aren't licensed by the NBA

I would stay far far away unless you just like the appeal of a card. They will not retain value over the long term. I have a couple from his P2020 days that were $70-100 each that I couldn’t sell for $10 now.

From an "investment" standpoint, I don't think I've lost money/value on any of the things I've bought direct on his website. That said, I agree with Ewok. Buy for fun, not profit. There are plenty of better investments than cards. I would not base value on his P2020 stuff bc all P2020 is not doing well. Was really surprised that a lot of ppl at the National were interested in his cards. Like his designs, he keeps prices reasonable, and he's easy to reach online/loves taking feedback from collectors.

That Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp dual auto is one I always wanted.

I trust him more than Leaf or Wild Card. Beck's stuff is at least restrained parallel-wise, the autographs are all on-card and the Giannis relics are all game-dated.

He's made several nice looking and unique Stephen Curry cards.

He made a bunch of money off me during the P2020 craze. Never again.

The Giannis drop today looks pretty sweet. It's gonna sell out quickly.
