I hope whoever made pointing Spider Man into a patch card got a raise. That's awesome, lol!

Nice cards, everyone. I had a small mail-day today and ended up being able to finish 1 more framed piece and 1 shelf. That'd be 13 out of 14 framed pieces finished and 2 out of 6 shelves finished, for the seemingly never-ending closet project

Mail day:

23/1999...if you're wondering why I'd post a random base card

The Cyclops finished off 1 of my shelves(GOTG & X-Men related):

The Eva Green is an addition to another shelf but that one's not quite finished yet...one day!

And the Bernthal finishes off my Punisher piece:

Might be my favorite one? I say that every time, I guess. I just love how it goes from...

Just Frank, Frank Castle... to...
Frank, but now I joined the Marines and I got this snazzy shirt... to...
Someone hurt my family... Criminals must pay via my pair of .45's... to...
Uzi's, mowing down large groups of criminals... to...
The Punisher. Dripping/covered in blood... Lost the plot...

Two others I haven't posted pictures of yet but finished as well. One framed piece and one shelf:

I'd actually "finished" that Black Cat a while back, but ended up moving one of the cards in it...so the Metallurgy is the new addition

And another shelf piece, just a bunch of villains. X-Men on the bottom, various in the middle and the sinister 6 on the top :

I said I'd be done with this closet by 2026...might be 2027+, as I'm losing interest in cards in general ... We'll see though, if that changes.

Wow these are amazing displays/shelves orion….great pickups!

Punisher one turned out great with the bookend autos and that it tells a story. It’s not easy to find quality Punisher cards period since he’s been out of so many sets. I’d say the Black Cat display looks just as good if not better with the new replacement…Dan Dos Santos’ art is great on the BC.

That Eva white diamond ….a beauty of a card in hand! Can’t wait to see the completed Eva shelf.

I’ve had a pretty solid September so far.

EDIT: My apologies, I was not expecting these to be so big. Anyone know how to resize them with Tapatalk?

Great looking Ford. That'd be one card that's on MOST non-sport wish-lists

I know, the TBT variations are all quite good. I was ecstatic to get this one for $21.

Picked up this cool Ryan Coogler rookie card off of COMC. He appears in other cards in this Behind the Lens subset but this is the lowest numbered one and imho coolest image!

I nabbed this interesting one a few days ago on COMC. I think it might be the only comic cut error I've ever seen...

I think that cut was supposed to go here:

https://www.comc.com/Cards/Marvel/20...ed/CGC_Cards/9

It makes me wonder if there's a /53 Skottie Young floating around out there with a Neal Adams cut from a book from 1972...(Young wasn't even born until 1978 )

Cool find! In the UD Mickey Mouse comic cut checklist two of the issues were completely flip flopped on the wrong issue number. The one you got appears to be way more limited. Nice find. You might want to elite scan to make sure they didn’t just load the wrong front or back scan.

Thanks

I have bought a few Mickey cuts/covers over the years, but obviously didn't notice the error, if I ever even bought one

As far as Elite scanning, I don't think that's needed. It states on the front(under the cut) that it's supposed to be from Avengers Vol 1 #95, so unless they only scanned the actual cut portion of the card...then superimposed it over the cut that was supposed to go on the card, I think it's good
