"Won" 2 of the 1/2 hobby boxes from Fanatics ... just hoping for a fun rip.

While lots of talk about the collation issues, my boxes felt strangely curated in collation.

First, my Red Sox ... not many but all 4 I got were parallels. I thought that dude was Peter Gammons giving Fisk his ROY award, but it's not (some league exec). Love the red Papi. The Black Foil Duran is a bit of a bummer as the flag is pretty dark. Love this Tek image, too.



Base rookies, oddly got one of pretty much all the big names except Yamamoto, which is also part of the oddity of these boxes, I received no Dodgers, except one base Pages. Intentional when sending to a Bay Area address?



As for the non base rookies, a trio of Oriole red foils. Skenes is a chrome, and the other Westburg is a refractor.




Finally the hits. I think the Mays is a green (/99) ... but tough to tell. Edler Holliday was the auto in box one. After hearing so many people get cruddy autos, I was happy I got someone I heard of. Then I got my auto in box two and well ... while it would have been cool to get younger Holliday, I have zero complaints.

I have been going for the Compact boxes as they're usually less than half the cost of hobbies. I also bought a bunch of fat packs since I like the pink parallels even though the odds for hits are far less than hobby/compact and you can only get base autos from them. Blasters were really good last year but took a big step back this year imo. Take a look at some of the numbers I pulled together.

Quick check in with any player collectors from this set. Are you still waiting for anything on ebay that hasn't popped up yet?

I know Stadium Club is a slower rip and Chrome & Sapphire Update came out and people swarmed to those, but is anyone still waiting on a gold minted, SSP (image variation) or foilboards /25 of their PC players to be listed more often?

Felt like 2023 things came out more steadily.

Is there an easy way to tell the difference between the sepias and a black and white this year? I know in the past the stadium logos were different, but as far as i can tell this year they both have green foil with a white background?

Gold Minteds are a rarity from 2024. I've seen mostly only 1-2 per player, oftentimes none have shown up yet for sale. I don't think a lot of this product was broken - rare singles have been pretty much non-existent.

These are proving to be a tough grade. With the exception of this and a mislabeled Corbin Carroll gold minted that also gemmed, I’ve been getting back PSA 7-8’s with the odd 9. PSA is really hammering the little touches of white on the back corners.

Just 2 gems out of 82 total submitted for 2024. Gem rate less than 2.5%.

I wasn't able to collect much last year due to financials, and I really feel like I must've missed some things. Why is this product so expensive? Even the compact boxes seem absurdly priced.

Not quite sure exactly what you're asking. As far as Stadium Club goes, the Foilboards have been a consistent parallel since 2014. They are serial #ed to 25 every year.

Local show today in Denver - was digging through boxes looking for a Charlie Blackmon Gold Minted for my team set. I found one just a bit better:

I haven't seen any serial #ed Nolan Jones autographs out of this product. Been hunting for a while and it seems like there's only base, non-serial #ed copies.

Has anyone noticed this for any of the other autographs in this set?

Saw this posted on Reddit earlier today, a preview for 2025 Topps NPB appears to also show the design for 2025 Stadium Club. Looks kinda similar to 2024.
