Sunday Ticket - YouTube TV Location Error

Anyone else try logging in recently who only use YouTube TV for the football package?

I get an error that I need to enter my zip code to login and I need to go to my computer or phone to update. I follow the links and when I enter everything it takes me to my Google account, which does have my address. There is no way for me to get to my YouTube TV settings.

Anyone else experience this or know what to do? I don't wanna be scrambling Sunday morning

Your youtube tv account should always be permanently linked to the google account that you originally signed up under. So long as you have access to that google account, you'll always have access to youtube tv by simply downloading the app and linking.

Location error only came up for me the times I was trying to access while I was still logged into a vpn for Stake wagers.

I have access to my Google account and the location options for the Google account is only country, not zip code. There isn't a place to enter a zip code

Yeah I don't believe there's any way to specify zipcode on either the web version or app. At least not on my tv's or devices.

I think it's all handled via the IP it sees on the network it's currently connected to, so obviously out-of-country vpn's may block out certain channels.

One thing you have to ensure is that you enable Location services if this is for a portable device or laptop. Or else youtube won't be able to geo-log you and most likely you'll run into the issues you're seeing.

So if anyone else has this happen, I spent about 45 minutes with YouTube to get this straightened out. My location services were on, that is not the issue.

You HAVE to use Google chrome as a browser. Go to thy YouTube TV page as directed and in the Sunday package screen click start the 21 day trial, then on the next screen click not now. Go to another device after about five minutes and that should allow your google account to be updated since you're trading a Google chrome browser.

Probably the dumbest error and work around in history
