Default 2025 Coaches Hot Seat

Looks like first up is Mike McDaniels for Miami. Wonder who the first to be fired will be this year. Rex Ryan calling him a nerd boy on tv was pretty funny.

Why is this in Off-Topic?

Shouldn't this be in Football?

Who coaches the Browns these days? That job is a death sentence.

I predict McDaniels will be gone by week 5.

I think Daboll will be safe this season. Day after season ends, he will gone.

I don't think he was ready for that Miami lifestyle either. He has definitely changed since he got down there.

It's cute but it's over.

They could go 0-17 and he won’t be fired

Stefanski is safe for at least another year and they see where they end up with the 2 first rounders

Now the GM might be fired at 0-17

I know that Lamar has a rep as a choker but the team should really start looking at John Harbaugh at this point

No reason for that lead to be blown

I think DeMeco Ryans is extremely safe in Houston. Won 2 division championships his first two seasons as HC in 2023 and 2024 (although against arguably the weakest division in the NFL). Also he's a former Texans player whom the fanbase really likes.

Mike McDaniel also vapes on the sidelines during games

That right there is enough to put him in the lead

I'll also add Panthers HC Dave Canales to the list. Decent OC, but at 5-13, I'm not sure he has the ability to be a head coach at the NFL level

His team looked awful against another former Bucs OC turned Head Coach, Liam Coen's Jags last Sunday

A 43 year old, 2 time NFL Coach of the Year, with a 40-45 career record (which makes his a God in Browns coaching lore).

It's not his fault the team threw away it's window on the worst contract and trade in NFL history (Watson).

This is correct

But he already knew that. He was just being dumb to be dumb

My bad... I just assumed he wasn't a big football guy.

No one circles the toilet like Browns fans.

What does this mean?

Stefanski isn't on the hot seat. That's what this thread asked

You and your boy always have excuses for everything, it was pretty clear. Browns will Brown, we all know it.

Do you follow football at all? Why would Coen be on the hot seat in Jacksonville when they just turned over the front office and coaching staff?

DeMeco Ryans is also safe.

Do you what excuses we're making?

I'm pretty sure we're both pretty self aware about how much of a dumpster fire this organization has been over the past 30 years.

Like I said, I think there are just a lot of people who just don't really know much about football around here.
