WOW! Soon to be 4th alone. Pretty big names on that list!

Edit: Him hitting that Grand Slam at the bottom of the 7th would have been legendary

Should win his 3rd, really his 4th, MVP this season.

Truly remarkable run of years.

All baseball fans can only think what could have been if not for a late start, some injury shortened seasons, and the covid year.

Still cant believe Altuve was able to keep that MVP after cheating.

Should be MVP #4.

The late start might have benefited him. But the injuries and Covid year are the real tough ones.

Batting average aint what it used to be but Raleigh hitting .239
Can't imagine half of sports writers voting for him while Judge is hitting .322 & almost 200 pts in OPS too.

IF the Mariners finally win the west though - Raleigh is a gold glove catcher...
He's got to hit .240 or above though

Anything can happen from now until the end of the season. It's not over yet.

Judge currently leads the league in:

Runs, Walks, BA, OBP, SLG, OPS, OPS+, rOBA, Rbat+, TB, WAR

Oh yea and he also has 46 homeruns.

Raleigh is a great story. But Judge is the MVP.

Yeah, big dumper made a spirited charge when Judge went on the IL, but with the yanks playing well lately and Judge back to hammering balls out of the park and Dumper with a sub-.240 BA, MVP race is JOEVER.

The late start and injuries are part of who he is. That's like saying if he only stayed in his peak throughout his whole career.

Sosa had 50+ 4 years in a row… then hit 49 the next year

Ruth, Sosa, and McGwire all have four seasons with 50+. No one has done it five times.

Ah that makes sense, not sure why I thought otherwise.

I'm starting to wonder if Springer might steal a few votes. Toronto winning the AL East, plus George playing out of his mind, might sway a few voters his way.

Realizes a while back while reorganizing my art stiff I had some AP blanks. Found a few left from 2017 TMC. Due to a car accident and subsequent surgeries in late 2023-24, I havent been able to draw at all until a few days ago. Decided yo use a 2017 TMC AP blank on Judge

No chance Judge doesn't win his fourth *legitimate* MVP here in his 9th complete season. We think of him as this hulking HR hitter, but he's been Tony Gwynn and Barry Bonds this year. Most of his numbers are so far ahead of every else that it's become easier to take him for granted, like he's just some outlier expected to be outside the curve . Dude is next level... playing like Ruth and Bonds and perhaps no one else, ever, and literally making his place among Ruth, Gehrig, Mantle, and DiMaggio. People want to give Raleigh MVP votes because he squats? Because the Dumper has 7 more dingers and a dozen more RBI? Nah, no way. That's just lame.
