2024-25 Stature Case Break w/pics

Had more fun than I expected (and I expected a fair amount) with this. Cards are beautiful in hand, quality control was excellent for a thicker stock card (save for 2 very big issues on mem/autos) and got an auto in every box despite it saying mem or auto per box.

Let's start with base/numbered vet/legend/rookie hauls:

2024/25 Veteran: 8 base (Bedard, Matthews), 1 green 375 (Matthews), 1 red /249 (Laffy), 1 orange /199 (Crosby), 2 Blue /99 (Eichel, Rielly) Legend: 1 base /1199 (Trottier), 1 blue /99 (Lemieux), 2 gold /50 (Trottier & Lemieux) Rookies: 5 base /999 (Celebrini, Gauthier), 4 green /375 (Nazar x2), 2 red /249 (McGroarty, Bolduc)

2023/24 Veteran: 8 base (Matthews), 5 green /375 (Rantanen?), 4 red /249 (Ovechkin), 2 orange (Josi, Suzuki), 1 purple /25 (Stone) Legend: 3 base /1199 (Howe, Goulet, Leetch), 1 orange /199 (Cournoyer) Rookies: 6 base /999 (Hughes, Fantilli), 1 green /375 (Fantilli), 1 red /249 (Carlsson), 1 orange /199 (Edvinsson), 1 blue /99 (Poitras) & 1 black /10 (Connor Bedard)

The Connor market seems to have cooled a lot but that’s still a ridiculous hit imo. Add in the Fantilli, Michkov, Hughes Patch auto, all you really missed imo was a strong RPA and maybe a better legend auto (Sorry Trottier!) but a single case won’t have everything so this is an amazing break even better if you hold Bedard and he fulfills potential imagine having a McDavid like that right now lol

I'm a Hawks fan, that Bedard is staying with me after a possible stop at PSA as it seems like at least a 9. All in all, completely agree that for one case I can't ask for more realistically.

Those cards look pretty neat. Not sure what the cost is for this stuff, but looks like you got some nice hits. Thanks for sharing your break.

Saw Zeree mention base have no 1/1? If so that makes that Bedard even bigger as /10 would be the lowest parallel. Already a good break but even more congrats on that lol

I just saw that too, I just assumed there was 1/1 somewhere. I fully expect to lose money on opening this, but if it is more than half I might get tempted to move it at some point.

And kingofsnake, retail is roughly $3200/case, and I was able to snag it right at $3k all in.

The lowest parallel on the Base cards is Black /3. The 1/1 is the patch auto black only.

Kind of nice they went to this. There were too many 1/1's in the last couple releases (photo-variant, design-variant, design-photo variant, base auto, photo auto, design patch auto, design-photo patch auto, rookie excellence/wunderkind, excellence/wunderkind black auto, excellence/wunderkind patch auto). Something like 10 rookie 1/1s for most of the players, and 4-7 1/1s for the vets...

For the non-auto/mem standard parallels is /10 on the Beckett checklist. I watched probably 50 cases opened, never saw a base parallel lower than black /10.

Agree its nice to not have so many competing 1/1, felt like a Leaf product sometimes.
