Default Another eBayer to block odds_and_ends-45

odds_and_ends-45

Purchased a .99 cent ultra modern base Score card via ESE. Condition is described as Near Mint-Mint. Sent in penny sleeve, semi-rigid that is painters taped to a cardboard chip, that is then inserted into an Armalope envelope.

Buyer left negative feedback with no message or INAD claim. Stated card had "damaged corners". Really strange actually. That's an apology, automatic full refund and discount on next purchase on my side.

After some research, he's done this to multiple sellers, total of 12, in the last 30 days.

Update: I just realized that this is the buyer that sent me a private message requesting to send in a top loader and penny sleeve. My listings explicitly say that they are being sent as a described above to avoid the machine jam potential. So I even went out of my way to send it the way the buyer wanted. Crazy.

Block-worthy looking at their feedback left for others.

They were even unhappy with a PSA 10...

Yeah, I read it all and it's really just an uneducated buyer. I'm already in discussions with the buyer, since they are also a seller and going over the nuances of trading cards. They didn't think it was worth it from a seller's perspective to deal with returns. So I informed them of the INAD claim, how every transaction is important and how we, as sellers, can file PIP claims for damaged cards using ESE.

Final Update: I had a discussion with the buyer and feedback was revised. I explained to them the process for INAD within 3 days no matter the return policy of the seller. Informed them that the condition standards of eBay is different than most everywhere else. I even told them if they wanted to know the nuances of a cards condition, to just ask. Hopefully the lesson sticks but the risk is yours!

Positive outcome for you. You may have just saved a bunch of sellers headaches moving forward. Still blocking them, though.
