Welp, injuries are hitting at the exact wrong time, now with Wheeler, Yordan, Jacob Wilson, Schwellenbach, and a few role players on the IL. I think I can likely still sneak into the playoffs as the 5 or 6 seed, but not expecting much after then. But if you get in, you never know

Starting with the playoff seeing first - Tex has clinched the #1 overall seed and one of the two first round byes. The second will go to either Chitty or Bosox - coincidentally, they are faced off against each other this week in a playoff preview matchup. Chitty is pretty likely to end up with the bye even if he loses this week, as he won the other head to head matchup earlier in the year, and even if he drops this week, will still be ahead by a few hundred points scored on the year. Seeding after the top 2 is still going to be pretty variable based on how this week plays out

Here are the matchups for the 3 teams still fighting for a playoff slot:

I am a game up on Silver and Pcarl so naturally hold the edge here. If I win this week, I'm in straight up. The final slot would go to Pcarl if he won his matchup, otherwise we'd go to the second tiebreaker which would be Silver. If I lose this week, then Silver and I go to tiebreaker, which would also go to second tiebreaker, and at just 80 points separating us on the season, it could go either way. Pcarl would still be in the hunt with a win as there would then be a 3-way tiebreaker which I'm not going to try to figure out here now

What a finish to the regular season, Silver beats me by 5 points to tie us in the standings, while Pcarl wins his matchup to make a 3-way tie for the final 2 playoff spots. And from tiebreakers, Silver and I move on to the playoffs. Doesn't get much closer than that

The Corbin stream actually worked out! Walker, meh. At the end of the day, close but no cigar. Fun to have a competitive playoff matchup after what felt like a season that my team just never really got going. Good luck to the teams moving on!
