Ok. This year just isn't it for me. Not going to full rebuild, but willing to sell some nice pieces:
Trea Turner Brent Rooker Yu Darvish Sonny Gray Blake Snell Josh Hader And less premium guys I'm willing to move include Adolis Garcia, Jurickson Profar, Brandon Woodruff, Justin Verlander Not super looking to move guys not listed here, but come strong and I'll listen Most looking for young pitching, could also use young infielders

-43.5 points for my team on day 1 of a matchup is a pretty tough record to beat. Man my pitchers ate it yesterday.

Standings update with 3 weeks to go! The middle of the pack is super close this year with 6 teams all within 1 game of each other vying for 4 spots, plus one more team technically still in the running, albeit a long shot to sneak in:
Clinched: 1. Chitty 15-4 2. Jac 14-5 In the hunt: 3. 88UD 11-8 4. Todder 11-8 5. Hollywood 11-8 6. Viking 11-8 7. Homerun 10-9 8. Gum 10-9 9. Seth 8-11 Eliminated: 10. Eck 6-13 11. Chris 4-15 12. Ray 3-16

Brand new sentence: Man I’m glad I added Tyler Alexander to offset that terrible Yamamoto start.

Can we get more IL spots next year? I'm thinking like 7 might be good....
Says the guy who currently has 11 players on the IL on his roster lol

It was a big week for the playoff picture as 2 more teams clinched this week and 2 more teams were eliminated at the end of last week's matchups. Here is where we stand as we enter the final regular season matchup:
Clinched: 1. Chitty 17-4 2. Jac 14-7 3. Hollywood 13-8 4. Viking 13-8 In the hunt: 5. 88UD 12-9 6. Homerun 12-9 7. Todder 12-9 8. Gum 11-10 Eliminated: 9. Seth 8-13 10. Eck 7-14 11. Chris 4-17 12. Ray 3-18 Hollywood and Viking can both catch Jac by record this week with a win plus a Jac loss, but it is very unlikely for either to catch Jac in total points for the year, so our #1 and #2 seeds and first round byes are essentially locked in to Chitty and Jac in that order Here are the matchups for the teams still in contention for the final 2 playoff spots: #5 88UD vs #11 Chris #6 Homerun vs #7 Todder #8 Gum vs #9 Seth The HR/Todder matchup is the one to watch, as the winner of that should be in the playoffs and the loser eliminated. 88UD has the easiest path of these teams to the playoffs and will clinch with a win. ESPN doesn't show Gum as eliminated yet, but he would need to win his matchup and overtake the loser of Homerun and Todder in total points on the year - he is neck and neck with Homerun so anything goes there, but 400 points behind Todder, so really his only path is outscoring Homerun this week while Gum wins and Homerun loses Quote:

Never underestimate my ability to sit a 30+ point start so I can have a fringe streamer put up -25 to make things close.

I had just enough horrible weeks to keep me out of the playoffs. If Strider was 50% of his old self, I would have made it. Congrats to those who got in! My team will be ready for next year!

My bats have had an awesome week with already 200 points scored, but my pitchers are leaving me out to dry, with only 20 combined points on the week. Going to be a frustrating loss if I can't pull this off

It only took 5 years, 3 drops, and being eliminated from the postseason, but this trade is finally paying dividends! (Ignore the Kelenic portion of my return.) But don't ignore my Kyle Hendricks for Tarik Skubal and AJ Puk Trade shortly before this one!

Ended up having a good showing this week and putting up virtually the same number of points as the top 3 teams this week, but it was just not quite enough as I'll lose by about 8 points. There will be no three-peat
But it's about time one of yall wins this one instead of me

Congrats Assassins and thanks all for another fun year! Figures I have my best week of the season during the championship week when I didn't even make the playoffs.

2 second place finishes in a row with a third place finish the year prior is quite bittersweet. Next year I plan to win it all
![]() ![]() Trade block for the offseason is below. Looking for 1-2 solid RPs, and always looking to mix up SPs. Otherwise would just be interested in whatever makes the most sense. Not a ton of positional needs right now. That trade seems way in favor of Assassins... who just won the league.

It definitely is lopsided with the way starting pitchers are so ridiculously valuable in our league. But we also don't really want to start a veto process without obvious collusion.
Seager is borderline replaceable in our league at this point of his career, Javier pitched less than 50 innings. For two pitchers that combined for 1000 points this season (12th & 17th overall in SP scoring). Seager is 18th at SS (being outscored by Xavier Edwards, a FA).
