All these international players come out scorching hot. Prices so high it's crazy. Give it 6 months and them cards aren't even worth half of what they initially went for.

Just open 10 boxes (best hit was Kevin Alvarez yellow auto) and pulled A Jakob Wright speckle auto CPA-JWR. The problem is he isn’t on the checklist.

Actually he and Anderson Brito were late additions to the auto checklist, as well as Shoeless Joe Jackson to the Retrofractors.

I really don't understand why Topps has such a problem with chrome cards lately. So many small (print) scratches and gunk on the cards. I get that not every card is going to be perfect but for what they charge for box prices they need to step up their game and fix their printing issues.

What's everyone's LCS at for prices? Mine just posted $320 for Hobby and $360 for Breakers Delight. Tempted to go buy a box or two of delight and flip them. Seems like those always go up in value shortly after release

Love how the first cards that pop up on ebay are like 90$ for random kids who arent even prospects.

All Topps has to do is put any prospect in the spotlight, regardless of talent, and his first cards go nuts on eBay. I wouldn't pay 10% of the BIN prices currently up for him.

I think it's just the Ohtani effect and that people really like Kanji autos (myself included)

The weird thing is they had a great Chrome Marvel release (QC at least) this year, so no reason it can't be done.

Just opened my hobby box and got a HUGE, I MEAN HUGE SURPRISE. I got this pack in the box

And it had 4 AUTO'S all #'d to 5!!!! but no big names

Am confused if this is the same card just listed twice on the Beckett checklist, or if there is 2 image variations!?
