It's moving fine

Just had a grade pop yesterday

Authenticated in 2 days or less and graded in 4 or less is normal

Sometimes a day or 2 longer but not weeks

It is incredibly frustrating as a seller. The fact Ebay Authenticity makes up damage on cards - Very literally - and also DAMAGES cards that are returned (has happened multiple times to me), is crazy. I don't know what the process is over there but someone is corrupt there.
No they don't

You can probably find a rare instance but in general, no they don't

Wow, is that the typical turnaround time on grading through ebay? No wonder PSA orders have slowed down, seems like the ebay grading orders are getting priority.

Yes, typical time frame

I have a lot of cards go straight to grading from AG and never any slow downs or issues - so far*

I get that, but they're anal beyond comprehension. I showed their comments to two graders I know who rolled their eyes. Total S-show they're running. At least the "expert" I got this last time.

All it would do is create another problem. People would bitch and moan about returns and/or what they wanted done with their purchase if they clicked the wrong button or eBay didn’t understand

God forbid the seller do something wrong

Blowout always wants things in a nice package wrapped up with a little bow

PSA Vault orders get the eBay funds hold. Makes no sense to disincentivize sellers from selling to buyers who use that service, but such is eBay logic.

in the same boat. Have two Willie Mays patch autograph cards that arrived there on the 10th, no authentication yet so guess for foreseeable future its a waiting game

Little bit of a strange update on the two Mays cards. Both shipped out separately on the 10th, delivered to Santa Ana address on the 12th. Both arrived at the hub on the 18th. Checked today and one already confirmed delivered to the buyer yesterday, the other....still waiting on authentication

hopefully maybe the second one hasn't been officially updated yet on Ebay site and will have same result soon as the 1st

How are you able to tell me what MY EXPERIENCE is? Makes no sense.

Yes they have 100% damaged cards from my own experience. I've sent out a card literally with zero creases be returned to me creased up, another one with corner damage.

Another card I had sent to me from a seller, and they damaged the corners when the corners were clearly NOT damaged in the picture on Ebay.

And YES - they do make up damage. Again what you need me to screenshot you messages from Ebay? Ebay Auhentcity telling me there are rounded corners in 2 different cards I sent out - Only for both buyers to still accept the card ... 1 of which told me the card is fine and has no idea what Ebay is saying, the other gave positive feedback.

Again, these are actual instances. 5 out of about 10 of my totality experiences with Ebay Authenticity.

I'm hesitant to buy any raw cards on Ebay above $250 because I'm pretty confident Ebay Authenticity will find a way to beat it up before it gets to me.

I'd expect yours authenticated today or tomorrow. I'm on just about the same timeline as yours and mine just authenticated.

9/11 Purchase
9/16 Delivered to PSA Front Desk
9/22 Arrived at Hub
9/23 Authenticated

The delay I've seen has been from the front desk to "arrived at hub".

That has been said by many since the program was introduced, but it would only work if the buyer forfeited any right to return their purchase for any reason.

Buyer gets a different card, empty package, card in worse condition than described, counterfeit card, etc. - than they are out of luck because they didn't want to go through the AG program.

Ebay probably discussed internally making it optional, but there would be too many obstacles dealing with buyers who did not read / understand the terms, buyers who did chargebacks, sellers taking advantage of buyers who declined the AG program, etc.

Agree 100%. As a seller I love auth guarantee. No more BS returns.

I bought a card from Probstein on 9/10 that needed to go through the authentication center..problem is because he ships in bulk, I don't have a tracking number so I don't have a clue when it has actually arrived at the authentication center.

Is this right?

I buy from them all the time and have gotten tracking every single time within like 48-72 hours

Never had this issue

I'm definitely experiencing delays and I think they last 10ish card's I've received were sticking out of the card saver.. Probably weren't damaged bc they ship in a box but still frustrating. Simple fix to delays would be to raise the $ threshold.. however I don't understand why some cards under $250 go to the authenticator and some over $250 don't?

Crazy. Mine all have

I’ll have to pay attention moving forward

I would not be happy if this is the case. Totally get it
