Is it just me or does this patch seem off? Why is this card not a 1/1 or numbered?

Silohouttes is a patch dump..there's a ton of high numbered quality patches in this set

I’d be concerned with this being a swapped in patch. While
silhouette is a patch dump the finals patches / tags have all been clearly done based off their numbering. I haven’t seen a single other non numbered finals jersey that hasn’t been a 1 color jersey

Yeah that’s what I am saying. All more than one colored patches in silhouettes final cards that I have seen have been numbered. This is the tag from his finals game used jersey (allegedly), but it’s not numbered???

This card looks like all the other “base” patch cards.

Even how the patch sits in the card seems off

I think that's gonna be a big problem with this set...Panini put so many premium patches in non or higher number cards that it's going to an easy target for patch swapping

I bid on this, and that is what got me thinking about it. I purchased a base card, as a LeBron game used finals jersey patch will be great long term hold.

I hope the winning bidder sends it straight to grading from eBay for the final say. If this gets slabbed I would be surprised.

The grading companies do not validate if the patch is legit. I feel like they should, but I do not believe they ever have.

Not saying it's real, but that's from a laundry tag, not a true logoman. Adidas game-used jerseys have that exact design. They lost the nba license after the 2017 season.

Fake imo. Yes there are lots of nice patches in silhouette in non-numbered, but the other copies of this card are just plain napkins. Someone taking advantage of the idea that Panini is doing a patch dump and swapping with a fake patch likely.

It totally looks shoved in there - no doubt about that. I probably wouldn't touch it myself...but it COULD be legit.

Agreed. That’s what likely happened here, someone taking advantage of that fact. But looking at other non numbered copies of this card, this is likely a fake.

At least these patches say NBA, the one in the card says NEA lol… the B doesn’t connect.

Set definitely has some sick patches but basically zero chance panini would put a tag patch in a non-serial numbered card, especially on such an important player. Plus even the way it sits in the patch window looks wrong. 99.999% chance it's patch swapped imo

There is no rhyme or reason to Silhouette's numbering. I've seen napkins /25, and 5 color patches non-numbered, same player/subset.

Yeah but that isn't totally unheard of for panini sets. What would be completely unheard of would be a legitimate logo tag in a non-serial numbered patch card.

Yeah, for many reasons, I certainly wouldn't touch the tag card above. That being said, Panini QC isn't something to write home about.
