Carlos Delgado isn't at 475

Like I said, everyone with 475+ is in the hall or a juicer. Delgado does not have 475 so he is not relevant

Delgado has 475 career homeruns. Not sure what you are trying to say.

54 away now. Incredible how well he is playing at age 35 after all the injuries.

Here’s a recent pickup that I got shockingly low

He single handily won the game offensively for the Yankees last night. Maybe he should be the Captain since it's obvious he's the one carrying the team on his back (when Boone doesn't sit him) and not Judge.

Dude is raking, and maybe more surprisingly, while his defense has been bad, it's just regular bad, not horrifically bad according to Statcast. LOL
Looks like he's roughly 35th-40th percentile for fielding value.

He’s always been a fundamentally sound OF with a good arm, just horrific range. I’ll take it all day long.

Today’s mail

I’m a big fan of the Target Retro parallel. Today’s mail added a 2011 Rookie Cup to go along with my 2010 Update RC stash.

Giancarlo Stanton making Hall of Fame case with 450th homer

Quote:
Stanton hit No. 450 in his 1,719th career game. Only Babe Ruth, Mark McGwire, Alex Rodriguez and Harmon Killebrew were quicker to 450.

I think he's already a shoe-in, but he's got TWO more years with the Yankees to hit 50 more for a guaranteed entry. Will be a fun story to follow. Meanwhile, his teammate might put up near 60 each of those seasons to arrive just short of 500 around the same time.

Stanton is the playoff MVP for the Yankees and he is cranking to form as the playoffs are about to begin. Judge will lead them to the playoffs but Stanton takes over when the leverage rises!

One at bat today, one home run. The march to 500 continues.

Scooter, How much in denial can Judge collectors be. A. Judge’s last 40 playoff games he is 3-31 in RISP. This is NO MISTAKE ! 6 RBI’s with 7 runs crossing the plate in his last 40 plate appearances with runners in scoring position. That might be historically the WORST stretch of un-clutch hitting the post season has ever witnessed. Therefore, yes, somebody should make the point that Judge better get his head out of his lower 6 and stop expecting Stanton to do what elite players are expected, to rise. Forgot, judge isn’t in court for the playoffs, no rising.

Guess what, I would bet to look on the Yankees forum to see more of the same. 3-31 in RISP since 2019 playoffs 😂😂😂😂 !

Since 2019 for post season play, 32 RISP opportunities : 10 H, 28 AB, 2 SF, 2 BB, 6 HR’s, 23 RBI’s with a slash line of .357/.400/1.000/1.400. If he continues with his torrid pace, who knows.
