Combination of barely any available and people that are stupid. If you're buying cases of products, you should be on dealernet. There are case sales as low as $1050. That's with no fees, tax, shipping, and only $87.50 a box. Most buying on Topps are paying tax. As far as breaks go...

I've been watching a few of the bigger channels(that I know of) and spots are mostly just sitting there, not getting bought. Any value spots get picked up right away, but the majority just seem to be sitting.

I haven't even actually seen a break yet...but I'm pretty curious to watch one, so I can know if it's worth it to gamble on one of the more expensive slots or not

Ripped 10 hobbys - got 4 autos including an on card Oscar Isaac! Got 3 /5 reds as well so pretty good boxes.

I have 44 blasters - so far ripped through half and got 3 autos. Pretty good rate but 2 of the blasters had packs that were completely bent and the cards inside were also bent. One of the David Dastmalchian as Piter De Vries gold auto /50 got bent so i'll be sending those back to topps...

2nd time is the charm. Cool auto I hit in the 10 boxes I bought. Opened the first 5. Opening the rest tomorrow with some pals.

The beige pulsars look really nice. I think the card stock on this is nice. Overall, quality of mine have been pretty good!

Opened two boxes. Best cards were a Chani /299 and an acrylic /99 of I can’t even remember.

The quality of the cards is bottom barrel, even for chrome.

Which auto variant is the on card Isaac?

There was no need at all for this to be 4000 cases

3000 cases of this will sit in a warehouse for years

Opened 2 hobby boxes and got an acetate sticker auto /10 of Babs Olusanmukon who also plays Dr M’Benga on Star Trek Strange New Worlds.
Not too bad, cards are really nice overall,

It would have been nice if they at least pulled it back by 1/3 so every other box had an auto and that's probably would it have been a couple years ago before breaking exploded

Zero idea why they went with a box this sturdy. It's like they thought this was going to be some high end release with Chalamet and Zendaya but neither would sign lol. I mean this set is years in the making so topps must of been trying for a while.

Re fifty thousand boxes.

I bet they had to pay a ton for the license from the studio and had to produce this much to try and make money on it

And as other said they probably factored in chalamet and zendaya autos.

Can’t believe they couldn’t get any. They should have just offered a crazy amount for even ten sticker autos for each and it would drive the product.

I will say that being older than many here I just can’t justify sticker autos. Give me a nice on-card auto and I feel that little connection to the signer.
