Well, a little over 10 minutes of last night's game was spent trying to ensure his teammate was OK after getting run over by the first baseman. Then there's pitching changes, umpires cleaning off the plate, having to put the bases back after slides, and the coaches that decide to teach during the game.

I mean, we can take politics out of it and I can show you why calling it Indigenous People's Day is dumb.

The holiday is to celebrate Columbus discovering the Americas. Without this, Europeans who migrated in droves to create modern day Canada, the United States, and the majority populations in the Spanish speaking nations wouldn't be here and these countries would probably not exist. That includes probably the majority of us here on BO. The Indigenous People that migrated to North America resulted in no such mass migrations or advancements.

PS: Columbus Day as a holiday was signed into law by Democratic President Lyndon Johnson as passed by the Democrat Senate and Democrat House in Congress.

Teaching is for practice for crying out loud.

Cleaning off the plate takes 5 seconds.

A hail Mary here...but anyone know where I can watch Thursday night football in Downtown Atlanta? Worst case I go up to midtown but rather find somewhere closer that I can just walk back to

And the juvenile act of holding onto the ball while faking to throw it back to the pitcher to try and get a runner out on the base paths. I hate this the most about Little League. I wish the coaches would shut it down. FT Jr's team rarely does it, but the other 2 teams are famous for wasting game time with it.

The kid had a concussion. You can't move him in a minute. My wife and his Dad (DC Firefighter) worked on him.

The bases aren't pegged down like in the majors and move every time a kid slides into them.

Yes I agree they need to leave the teaching for practice.
