Got my first ever upcharge email today. Deservedly based on what the card was that gemmed and the only sale of it (it was sub $499 raw when I sent it). Got upgraded all the way to the $149.99 level based on the only sale ($2,975).

I got smoked on the order as a whole (6/20 gems), but at least three of the top four/five cards in the order gemmed.

They removed the "problem order status from the order page, and it says grades ready and the status is "completing," but the grades aren't there and no PSA offers yet.

They sent all the grades over when they sent the upcharge email, so I know what it is, just curious the offers on the two cards that got upcharged

Most likely once they charge the order, grades will appear...and then possible offers from them to sell directly. Should happen later today or tomorrow at the latest...and if they make offers to you, that will delay the shipping process of those cards you are keeping.

This is one of those orders where I am expecting the worst but if I get even one 10 on a handful of cards, I'll be thrilled.

Grades popped:

Eight 10s.
Five 9s.
Six 8s.
One 7 (of course).

I'm not at all disappointed. The lesser grades were on terribly condition-sensitive cards, especially the 7 - just impossible (I've tried there before).

Accepted two PSA offers that were an easy "yes".

First time in a while I wasn't deflated by a return because I got the 10s where I needed them.

Grades did pop but no offers showed up. Find it hard to believe given that there were the same cards in my previous orders that popped less than a week ago and they both had offers. Seems like something with there system didn't get it processed to their offering system/calculations

Just speculating...could be that the buyer(s) for the cards have bought their desired quantity...and not buying more until they've flipped their current inventory first. Possibly the market conditions have trended downwards since your previous orders where offers were made on the same cards. If you vault the cards, they may make future offers.

They were offers on pretty generic cards and I had received offers on the exact same ones earlier this week. Plus, all the other orders I've done have at least had some bad offers in them

I am sitting in the same boat. I went to a PSA drop off event at CardsHQ, had an order for 10 business days, that order is now completed. However i had a ticket order and a bulk dual vintage order that still have not shown up in the system. That was on sept 28th, not as long as you but still a pretty long time.
My order came in right when they upped there prices, so that probably created an influx of orders to sneak in before the price change, thus things are really backed up.
I also have an order i dropped off in July that is still sitting in research and ID, supposed to be done Nov 6th but thats not happening. All we can do is sit and wait

I am seeing GameStop orders progress rather quickly, relative situations such as ours; perhaps this is intentional? Who knows.

So they just wanted to give you a slap on the hand? Seems like no communication was needed at all. Another mind boggling PSA issue.

I'm in QA checks for a 118 bulk order arrived 7/25. All 1990s, a couple early 2000s. mostly Kobe/Jordan. If I get better than 10% gems I'll be pumped. Honestly 40% should gem, but that's not gonna happen.

Exactly. Like, why bother at all? Imagine going to a restaurant and ordering a burger with no lettuce, and that burger didn’t come with lettuce anyway. Then the manager comes to your table to tell you not to be an idiot, their burgers don’t come with oil changes.

Sure feels that way! It's infuriating. I don't mind waiting but I do mind that they know the grades and won't at least give me a preliminary result with a caveat that it could change.
