Agreed. I hate when really good, humble players break out. I only want to hear about Ohtani and Judge.

Mariners left Woo in one inning too many.
I didn't think he should have came back in for the next inning. |

And The Red Sox clown chimes in.
Why don't you call Big Sloppi up and tell him to tone down the antics on the pre and post game show. He's acting like a typical Boston clown. And no, only the fake MVP wannabe's they throw at him to de-throne him. I had no issues when Ohtani won MVP over Judge as Judge wasn't the best player at the time. Last edited by fulltritty; 10-21-2025 at 06:18 AM. |

My son was ecstatic. He woke us up wanting the Bo Bichette World Series jersey.

Wanted the Mariners to win, but they woulda had no shot against the Dodgers. Too many K's - JRod refused to take the walk.
Toronto might at least make it interesting. Dodgers 4-2 |

I hear Springer has an endorsement for Waste Management. Congrats to Toronto. Not quiet as iconic or historical, but made me remember where I was when Joe Carter walked off Mitch Williams to win the WS. Hope it’s a good WS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

There is a reason you want the solid vets with playoff experience. Springer has come up big this series. He is clutch. Oops, I just pissed off the WAR crowd.

Did you tell him about how you stayed up all night arguing with people on a message board about Cal Raleigh?

Will be interesting how the HOF treats the cheating scandal. I believe last night would’ve punched his ticket without it.

Nah, I love Springer. Actually rooted for the Astros. Springer is clearly in the hall of very good. He has had a great career, but well short of HOF level. 45 war, 1500 hits, 300 Hrs, 800 RBIs is fantastic just not enough for HOF.

Springer was worth 5.2 fWAR this season. He was really good. You want really good players playing in big games. Solid vets that stink are great to have on your bench I guess!

They can soothe themselves with Springer's post-season WAR, which must be solid. He's played nearly a half a season of playoff games (78) and would have almost 50 homers and about 100 RBI projected over a full season's worth. And for good measure (as Vin Scully might say), he's homered in the last 4 (and 5 out of 7) World Series series games that he played against the Dodgers. Let's see if these new LA pitchers have something different for him.
